Hello everyone!

We hope you are well! Before the launch of the Ladder Rush Challenge for the month of May, here is the 1.5.0 update of Noara which brings several improvements, bug fixes and new content additions.


[h2]New features[/h2]

Ladder Rush mode
We have added a special "Ladder Rush" mode so you can join the ranked games for the tournament. This mode of play will be active during the tournament time slots. The cumulative score (Points of Honour formerly MMR) will be reset to zero at the end of each tournament. The top 100 players will be awarded prizes at the end of the tournament.

Kalinga
A new base model (rework) and 2 new skins replace the old version of Kalinga!



In addition to his Singular Caste, Kalinga belongs to a new caste: the Queen Caste (currently available in 2v2 mode only). This caste is exclusive to Kalinga and gives bonuses to all your units when deployed. As with the King Caste, these bonuses disappear when Kalinga dies.

Queen Caste:
Gives +1 velocity to all your units. In addition, the damage they deal ignores 30% of the target's resistances.

Kalinga's price increases from 1500 Khinas to 2000 Khinas, and its base velocity decreases from 5 to 4.

Shop New Kalinga Abyssal and Kalinga Albino Skins: These 2 new skins are available in the "Collection" tab but will also serve as rewards in Ladder Rush mode (see Ladder Rush Mode above).

New Iwobi, Babingi, Mana and Sawangi Abyssal Skins: These 4 new skins are available in the "Collection" tab.

Interface
The menu from which games are launched has been changed to allow for faster navigation.

Maintenance warning
A new maintenance warning system has been implemented. From now on, when maintenance is due to occur, players will be able to see a message warning them of how long they have until the update takes effect.

When a maintenance is deployed, strategists still in-game will be disconnected for a short time to avoid game version discrepancies.


[h2]Balancing and additions[/h2]

Ranking
The term MMR has been replaced by Honor Points (HP).

2v2 mode
Improved the matchmaking system to make it easier for players to find games.

Units
Tooltips now show the ratio of elemental mastery and/or physical mastery to skill damage and healing. This information is also available in the Codex.

Babanga, Babingi, Chaksa and Sinna Passive "Not Dead Yet!:
SFXs added

Babanga W "Round Trip":
SFXs added.

Rajang R "Venomous Charge":
The elemental mastery ratio is reduced from 100% to 30%.

Cast King: Caste no longer offers the 20% damage increase bonus. Instead, unlocking Caste offers 50 to all resistances of all your units. The 100 HP heal remains unchanged.

Items
Tooltips now show the range and cooldown of items. This information is also available in the Codex.

"Water Barrel" and "Large Water Barrel":
Added a 1-turn cooldown to these two items.

Bastion Capabilities
Added SFX to most Bastion abilities.

"Stunning Gong":
The 5th Management Round no longer features a Stunning Gong.

Puzzles "Saving Private Nariah":
For this puzzle only, Mastok's velocity drops from 3 to 2.


[h2]Bugfix[/h2]

Units Akuyandi Q "Meteor Strike":
Fixed the tooltip that showed the skill dealing 400 physical damage to the targeted unit and 100 physical damage to adjacent units instead of 500 physical damage to the targeted unit and 150 physical damage to adjacent units.

Akuyandi W "Heave Ho!" :
Fixed a bug where if Akuyandi used certain projectile-sending items, then selecting another unit during the projectile's path, it would put Akuyandi's "Heave Ho!" w on recharge.

Babanga W "Flying Knee!" :
Fixed a bug that caused Babanga to sometimes not deal damage to units that had just lost "Prepared" status.

Chaksa W "Toxic Pearl":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage dealt by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Floyd Q "Talion's Strike":
Fixed a bug that caused Floyd to be unable to use his Q "Talion's Strike" on his square when he was incapacitated or anchored, even when those states disappeared.

Irisha Q "Toxic Anemones":
Fixed a bug that caused some players to have their action grid close each time they used the Q.

Kalinga Q "Deadly Waltz":
Fixed a bug that caused a Kalinga using this skill on the chest, a blocker or an enemy silo to become unplayable.

Fixed a bug that caused Kalinga to still gain her invisibility damage bonus even when revealed.

Kalinga W "Mimicry":
Fixed a bug where when an enemy unit entered the square of a stealthy Kalinga, it would only take an attack of opportunity dealing 80 physical damage 4 times instead of 90 physical damage 4 times.

Now correctly heals 10% of his total health points, not his base health.

Kalinga R "Dark of Night":
Fixed a bug where when Kalinga used his skill while aiming at a square occupied by an invisible enemy unit, the skill had no effect and would reload.

Krogz R "Take Cover!" :
Fixed a bug that caused an allied Krogz to not lose the damage reduction buff conferred by another Krogz's "Take Cover!" skill when taking damage.

Mana W "Odd Mixture":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage dealt by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Fixed a bug that caused this skill to deal multiple damage to structures if multiple squares were hit.

Nariah W "Visco-Slide":
Fixed a bug where sometimes Nariah using "Visco-Slide" once while vertical through some silos could not use it a second time to cross it.

Fixed the tooltip that indicated Nariah was dealing elemental damage on her second use of the skill, when she was dealing physical damage.

Pirh Engineer W "Springboard":
Fixed a bug where placing the W "Springboard" on a square occupied by an anemone from Irisha's W "Toxic Surprise" would not destroy it.

Fixed a bug that when the Springboard was placed in a bush, it could crash the game.

Rajang R "Venomous Charge":
Fixed a bug that caused the duration damage inflicted by the puddle to benefit twice from the elemental mastery ratio.

Sentinel Passive "Lighting Bug":
Fixed a bug that when the Lighting Bug was placed in a bush, it could crash the game.

Sinna Passive "Not Dead Yet!" :
Fixed a bug that caused the embryo to have 280 HP instead of 250.

Items
Fixed a bug that caused an item icon to remain frozen on the interface when the game window was minimized while the item icon was dragged, making it impossible to use the items afterwards.

Leaf Spring:
Fixed bugs that could occur when a unit was killed while using a Leaf Spring. This also affects the basic Leaf Spring on the battlefield.

Fish Armor and Old Fish Armor:
Fixed a bug that caused the aura given by these items was not cumulative.

Superior Spyglass:
Fixed a bug that caused the revealed area to be wider than expected.

Alluring Octopus:
Fixed a bug that could prevent the Octopus from attracting units to the edge of its area of effect.

Bastion Ability Sand Wave:
Fixed a bug where it was possible for a unit to avoid the effects of the wave by simply moving it on impact.

Retreat! Retrait! + Ballista Shot:
Fixed a bug where using these two abilities simultaneously could block the use of units.

Monolithic Throw:
Fixed a bug that when a rock with this ability was thrown into the fog of war, you could still move a unit to one of the squares occupied by the rock.

Puzzles General:
Removed the sound of a Khina gain when a unit is killed during a puzzle.

Fixed a bug that caused us to not receive messages sent to us when playing in Puzzle mode.

Minesweeper:
Fixed a bug that sometimes caused the puzzle to end prematurely when it was still possible to complete it.

When It All Goes Pirh-Shaped II:
Fixed a bug that caused you to lose when you completed the puzzle too quickly.

Honor Points
Fixed a bug where even when winning a game, it was possible to lose honor points (formerly MMR) by quitting the game on the screen that displays "Victory".

Offside Team Invitation:
Fixed a bug that could occur when the team leader would disconnect when the invited player accepted the invitation.

Fixed a bug that when changing window during the introduction cinematic at game launch and then returning to it, the sound would lag.

Fixed a bug where when you were out of the game window and then returned to it, all the sounds that were supposed to play when you were out of the window would play at the same time.


[h2]Visual Bugfix[/h2]

General Friends list:
Fixed a visual bug where when sending an invitation and it was accepted, all names in the friends list would glow.

Units Silicia:
Fixed a bug that caused Silicia to get stuck in a running animation when she experienced the "Immobilized" state while moving.

Irisha Q "Toxic Anemones":
Fixed a bug where if you used Irisha's Q once and then immediately moved her afterwards, she could get stuck in run animation.

Iwobi W "Big-Game Fishing":
Fixed a bug where Iwobi could get stuck in run animation when moved too quickly after using this skill.

Pirh Engineer W "Springboard":
Fixed a bug where you could see the construction of Springboard placed by enemy Engineer Pirhs even when they were in the fog of war.

Items General:
Fixed a bug that caused the icons for items equipped to enemy units to appear larger than the icons for items equipped to one's own units.
