Changelog - 31 December 2021



Hello Gunsmiths!

This is the last post this year, a year full of work on Gunsmith Simulator. We hope it will be the same next year ;)

In the meantime, we'd like to present to you what we managed to do in the game over the last month. Check out the latest changelog below.

31 December 2021

Mechanics:
1. Shotgun shot mechanics.
2. Consumable resources.
3. Fixed case animations after the gun is replaced.
4. Save/Load handling for various edge cases with progression quests.
5. Tasks in quest categorized by workstations, to make it more readable for the player.

Content:
1. Demo content locked.
2. Upgraded bluing process with preparations and replacing gas tank.
3. Replaced workshop UI for 3rd iteration.

Graphics:
1. Grinder model.
2. Custom cases for some guns.
3. Protective gear for bluing.

Ho, ho, ho, Gunsmiths!

Have you been polite this year? If so, we hope that Santa Claus won't forget about it and will bring you a dream gift! Probably there will be a gun... Historical shotgun or modern machine gun? For Saint Claus nothing's impossible.

It has been a year of intense work for us, adding new weapons to the game, refining the design of the shooting range and workshop, and in recent weeks we've been focusing on the appearance of the UI.

Today we come to you with Christmas and New Year wishes.

Hello, Gunsmiths!

Today we come to you with another material, showing the things that were added to the game in November. New changelog can be found below.

30 November 2021

Mechanics:
1. Connected groups of parts are now considered as a module and interactive as appropriate.
2. Better highlighting for parts.

Content:
1. Players vehicle model upgraded. Added animations for interactions.
2. Upgraded sandblasting process.
3. Game flow configured for 4 initial skills. Tutorials and contracts set up and connected into a coherent path.

Graphics:
1. An enclosed area for bluing with props and interactive elements.
2. Upgraded bluing work station.
3. Belt sander model.
4. Brush grinder model.
5. Old timey leather gun case.
6. Updated UI for all core interactions.

Audio:
1. Machine and workstation sounds.

1. Replacing parts by another UI route.
2. Oil coating for maintenance.
3. Main menu full mouse/keyboard interactivity.
4. Player’s profile.
5. Various bugs fixed.

Content:
1. Players vehicle implementation of functionality.
2. Trap shooting.
3. Shooting range general optimization.

Graphics:
1. Main menu background scene.
2. Upgraded sandblasting cabinet.
3. Upgraded attachments.
4. Pistol style laser and flashlight.
5. Shooting range models for target area and for skeet/trap.
6. Guns added: 1

Audio:
1. Workshop sounds.
