Boss Music Update, Heavy Attack Overhaul, Enemy Rebalancing, New Astaroth Super

ENEMIES
  • All bosses now have their own unique soundtrack(!!)
  • Increased loot quality from Act Bosses and Raid Bosses.
  • Reduced the intensity of Ignites inflicted by Temple of Fire enemies.
  • Ignites from different enemy sources now all contribute to a single stack (reducing spell effect clutter).
  • Reduced the movement speed of some enemies.
  • Added SFX and Screen VFX when Poison affects the player.
  • Removed the Frost Aura ability from an Icewastes enemy and replaced it with a Chill on hit effect.
  • Removed the Demon Wolf enemy.


SUPERS
Astaroth's Idol is now Astaroth's Endurance
Entangle with an allied target. While Entangled and within 1000 range, the Entangled ally gains Astaroth's Endurance, regenerating 5% of maximum health per second, reducing damage taken by 20%, and increasing Total Damage by 20%. Lasts for 8 seconds.

Sendatu's Crown Rework
Create an area that applies Brutality, Precision, Lethality, Haste, and Undying Will to allies in range. Lasts for 10 seconds.

SKILLS

Increased hitstop on all melee skills.

All Melee Heavy Combos been replaced with a single heavy attack. Damage multiplier increased from 2x to 2.5x. Removed Heavy Attack Vulnerability.
Dev note: The old heavy combo system was bad. "Don't use it or you'll die" bad. This new system is a great way to capitalize on hitstuns.

Shield Slam
Damage: 25x -> 10x Shield Implicit Level
Stamina Cost: 75 -> 125
Cooldown: 6s -> 8s

Shield Throw
Damage: 20x -> 6x Shield Implicit Level
Cooldown: 5s -> 6s

Shield Charge
Damage: 20x -> 8x Shield Implicit Level
Stamina Cost: 75 -> 100
Dev Note: These were really strong, and made stronger by the earlier change to make shields have double strength implicits.

Dark Grasp has been renamed Shadow Grasp.

IMPROVED

Added XP values to the XP bar

Reduced the visual intensity of Ethereal Chains

  • Fixed Chill effects stacking higher than intended
  • Fixed Arc Slash not dealing Resilience Damage
  • Fixed a bug that sometimes caused enemies to become immortal
  • Fixed MTX purchases not starting
