Icewastes Door Fix

Fixed collision on Icewastes doorways blocking players in and preventing them from exploring the map

GAMEPAD IMPROVEMENTS
  • The cursor can now be properly controlled with a gamepad.
  • While sprinting out of combat, the camera will now rotate towards the direction the player is moving, reducing the need to manually rotate the camera.
  • Added camera zoom slider to pause menu.
  • Significantly improved roll directional reading from gamepad.
FLASKS

New characters can now choose "Regen Mana" or "Regen Stamina" to be applied to their Utility Flask when created.

Bloodfury Rework
OLD: Gain 3% bonus attack speed for 4 seconds on Critical Hits. Max 10 stacks.
NEW: Gain 3% bonus attack speed for 1 second on Critical Hits. Max 20 stacks. Stacks fall off faster as they accumulate.

Exerted Strikes
Now adds base damage based on Bonus Maximum Stamina (from gear and bonuses) instead of Maximum Stamina (grand total).

Precision Fighter Rework

Damaging skills that cost Stamina consume 20% less Stamina.

New Legendary Helmet: Truestrike Crest
Your Critical Strike Chance is 100%. Your Critical Strikes deal no extra damage.

New Legendary Shield: Arcane Aegis
While in combat, 75% of spent mana is stored as potential energy, up to 50% of your Maximum Mana. Dodge rolls and Heavy Attacks consume all stored energy to create a shield which blocks damage.

Reduced the movement speed of ranged enemies.

Kharabad Boss
Modified slam attacks to now deal damage instantly in a small area when the slam hits, and increased the distance at which the line of explosions start to create a small safe zone around him. This changes the dodge timing for melee characters to be more intuitive (dodging the actual slam) instead of waiting for the delayed explosions.

Boss Music Update, Heavy Attack Overhaul, Enemy Rebalancing, New Astaroth Super

ENEMIES
  • All bosses now have their own unique soundtrack(!!)
  • Increased loot quality from Act Bosses and Raid Bosses.
  • Reduced the intensity of Ignites inflicted by Temple of Fire enemies.
  • Ignites from different enemy sources now all contribute to a single stack (reducing spell effect clutter).
  • Reduced the movement speed of some enemies.
  • Added SFX and Screen VFX when Poison affects the player.
  • Removed the Frost Aura ability from an Icewastes enemy and replaced it with a Chill on hit effect.
  • Removed the Demon Wolf enemy.


SUPERS
Astaroth's Idol is now Astaroth's Endurance
Entangle with an allied target. While Entangled and within 1000 range, the Entangled ally gains Astaroth's Endurance, regenerating 5% of maximum health per second, reducing damage taken by 20%, and increasing Total Damage by 20%. Lasts for 8 seconds.

Sendatu's Crown Rework
Create an area that applies Brutality, Precision, Lethality, Haste, and Undying Will to allies in range. Lasts for 10 seconds.

SKILLS

Increased hitstop on all melee skills.

All Melee Heavy Combos been replaced with a single heavy attack. Damage multiplier increased from 2x to 2.5x. Removed Heavy Attack Vulnerability.
Dev note: The old heavy combo system was bad. "Don't use it or you'll die" bad. This new system is a great way to capitalize on hitstuns.

Shield Slam
Damage: 25x -> 10x Shield Implicit Level
Stamina Cost: 75 -> 125
Cooldown: 6s -> 8s

Shield Throw
Damage: 20x -> 6x Shield Implicit Level
Cooldown: 5s -> 6s

Shield Charge

Dev Note: These were really strong, and made stronger by the earlier change to make shields have double strength implicits.

Dark Grasp has been renamed Shadow Grasp.

Multiplayer Networking Fixed! (Finally), Temple of Fire Quest Fix

When disconnected from your party, you will receive a Reconnect Prompt at the main menu to quickly rejoin them.

IMPROVED
Massively improved multiplayer connectivity
Dev note: There was a strange bug with River Valtorin that caused crashes on ANY attempt to travel to the level with multiple players. Strangely enough the fix was to remove the pretty water ripple effects. Game dev is weird sometimes. Hopefully the ripples will return soon.

Improved load time on initial start up

FIXED
Fixed The Fire Temple quest being impossible to complete. Use the "Clear Current Quest" option in the pause menu and reacquire the quest from Binder in Town.
