Three New Skills: Hemorrhage, Outbreak, and Spectral Claw

NEW
  • New Skill - Hemorrhage: Detonate all existing Bleeds applied by you, dealing all remaining damage in an area around each target and consuming the effect.
  • New Skill - Outbreak: All existing Poisons applied by you flare up, immediately dealing 1 second worth of damage and applying the same number of stacks to all nearby targets.
Because both of these new skills rely on other skills in order to have any effect, they are available exclusively from the Skill Merchant and will not roll randomly on dropped gear.
  • New Staff Default Skill - Spectral Claw: Cleave enemies with your weapon. Applies Spell Weakness to all targets hit, causing them to take 25% more damage from your spells for 4 seconds.
BALANCE
Runic Serration
  • Bleed amount increased from 40% to 60% of damage inflicted.
  • Duration reduced from 6 to 4 seconds.
  • Cooldown reduced from 12 to 6 seconds.
IMPROVED
  • Skill Merchant's text search now checks skill descriptions.

Tooltip Fix, Volatile Minion Explosion Volume Reduction

Changed the tooltip of Summon skills to read "Mana and Reservation Cost".
Reduced the volume of the Volatile Minions explosion by 50%.

Summoner Overhaul, Helmet Buff

HELMET BUFF

Helmets now roll their natural implicit at double strength, similar to chest armors.

SUMMONER OVERHAUL
  • Minions now reserve mana equal to their mana cost.
  • Minions can now be dismissed by holding down Left Ctrl while casting.
Summon Firefly
  • Base Damage and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Base Health and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Max Summons reduced from 3 to 2.
Summon Spider
  • Base Damage and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Base Health and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Max Summons reduced from 3 to 2.
  • Mana cost increased from 75 to 100.
Summon Zombie
  • Base Damage and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Base Health and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Max Summons reduced from 3 to 2.
  • Mana cost increased from 75 to 100.
Summon Demon Wolf
  • Base Damage increased by 50%.
  • Damage per level scaling increased by 25%.
  • Now always inflicts Bleed for 40% of the damage dealt.
  • Mana cost increased from 125 to 150.
Summon Bear
  • Base Damage and scaling increased by 50%.
  • Third attack now creates a large nova for 100% increased damage and inflicts hitstun.
Summon Troll Lord
  • Base Damage increased by 30%.
  • Damage scaling increased by 50%.
  • Health scaling increased by 60%.


These changes should:
  • Make each individual summon feel more impactful
  • Reduce minion crowding and blocking
  • Reduce the frequency of all of your minions getting deleted by a single AoE attack
  • Increase the power of Recruiter for non-Legendary summons
  • Significantly increase the amount of hitstuns inflicted by normal minions
  • Make Mana a more relevant stat for summoners (who could otherwise ignore it completely)
  • Reduce the amount of Synthesis damage taken in general
  • Relax the stats required to play summoner at max level
  • Reduce network saturation
FIXED
  • Fixed some bugs with skill tooltips.
  • Removed a debug line printing to screen.

New Skill: Summon Zombie

NEW
New Skill - Summon Zombie: Summon a zombie to fight for you. Zombies regain 10% of their Max Health on hit. Max 3 zombies.

Dev Note: Compared to Spider summons, Zombies deal about 20% more damage and have about 50% less life.

BALANCE
  • Elite enemy melee attacks will now hit all targets in range.
  • Ravager Boss: Now prefers to use Ground Slam over other attacks when there are many targets in range.
IMPROVED
  • Added VFX to summons
FIXED
  • Fixed some trees missing collision data

New Legendary, Decimator Buff

NEW
  • 1 New Legendary has been added to the global drop pool
BALANCE

The Decimator
  • Now inflicts the same Sundered effect as Vicious Spin. This means that targets now take 5% more damage per stack, up from 3%.
  • Now increases maximum Sundered stacks from any source to 6.

Vicious Spin
  • Max Sundered stacks reduced from 5 to 3.
FIXED
  • Fixed an unintended interaction with Innate Magic and Flame Slash.
