VER 0.2.2 - HOTFIX

Howdy everyone! We've gone ahead and fixed a couple of issues that have popped up on the technical side of things- mainly issues that have continued to be reported with the gallery. Hopefully things work a bit smoother now!

Be on the lookout for another hotfix coming in the future which should help with some of the game balance to make some of the new mechanic changes feel better!

[h2]GENERAL:[/h2]
  • fixed: issues with gallery unlocks, should hopefully be solved
  • improved: cards now get larger on hover in the shop
  • fixed: deck no longer highlights/moves up when draw is clicked
  • improved: retroactive unlocking for save compatibility

VER 0.2.1 - THE F.I.R.S.T UPDATE (PART 1)

Good news- we have a bunch of cool content to show you guys!
Bad news- we're restaffing a writer, so we're breaking this update into 2 parts, but the next part should arrive within the next month or so!

[h2]STORY CONTENT:[/h2]
One of the implied Claire scenes has a brand new CG & some updated dialogue!

[h2]GAMEPLAY SYSTEMS:[/h2]
  • New currency: Inspiration- used to play event cards.
  • Draws now require Bones (formerly Coins)
  • Game over state- run out of bones, begin a new round (and start tasks over from beginning, supposed to add more of a "roguelike" element to progression)
  • Deck Builder- on game over you can customize your base deck.
  • Improved- upgraded Unity for performance and stability benefits.
  • Shop Overhaul- cards you buy only stay in your deck until you get a game over.
  • Shop Character- shop is staffed by a brand new, animated, character- Rae Rumms! She'll get dialogue and story content later. She's a lesbian though, so no dickings!
  • Got rid of the Destroy functionality on cards, since deck builder gives you deck control.


[h2]GALLERY:[/h2]
  • NEW CG: Claire follow up BJ scene
  • Fixed: Lucy & Francine CG unlock not being unlockable
  • Improved- Gallery is now accessible in Main Menu and City View.
  • Improved- Starlet XP display - the current XP number won't exceed required XP amount when starlet level cap is reached
  • Improved- Gallery now retroactively adds previously missed story event gallery unlocks based on the current starlet level. So those who missed the Lucy or Redd unlocks will now get them assuming the starlets are of appropriate level.
  • Improved- Scaling of main story icons on mouse enter.


[h2]UI:[/h2]
  • New icons! Not fully implemented everywhere yet.
  • New card back visuals! No more ugly plain backs, now have cute lil sex ghosts!

COMING IN PART 2-
We've got some more content on the way still- another Claire CG, some updated writing, card effect balancing, and updated card frames to go with the new icons and UI elements we added!

VER 0.1.3 - HOTFIX

Howdy everyone! We're continuing to work on addressing some of the initial things brought up from player feedback!

Why the skip from 0.1.1 to 0.1.3? Internally we had a 0.1.2, but we rolled that into a larger hotfix release with some additional fixes on top of that. So this update is 2 hotfixes rolled into one!

Major game content updates will be coming in February instead of January- but this is to allow for some additional content not originally planned- namely a new character with some animated artwork! Until then, enjoy these bug fixes which should make the experience that we have so far more smooth for many of you!

[h2]GENERAL:[/h2]
  • fixed: Soft lock in the intro tutorial with draw button being interactable when it shouldn't
  • improved: Shop sequence logic. This should solve the shop card sometimes not spawning or deck cards disappearing between rounds for a small percentage of players.
  • improved: Reset Deck button now calls a confirmation popup that explains the functionality of it with an option to also dismiss it.
  • improved: Upgraded Unity for performance and stability benefits.

  • fixed: Screen resolution reset that happened every time the options menu was entered.
  • improved: Vsync is now force enabled - this should improve or resolve GPU spikes some users experience.
  • improved: Options settings such as audio sliders are now fully saved and loaded between sessions.

VER 0.1.1 - HOTFIX

Howdy everyone! We got a lot of good feedback in recently about a couple of bugs currently in the game- we've gone ahead and done what we can to fix some of the issues some of you have run across.

Major game content updates will be coming in January, but for now enjoy these bug fixes which should make the experience that we have so far more smooth for many of you!
