We have some really exciting news for you, brave defenders of Meliora! As you know, some time ago we announced a brand-new Multiplayer Mode, and now we can finally share our plans for this awesome free update with you all!

The Multiplayer Mode has now its own unique name and logo - Brotherhood. 'Cos what other word than "Brotherhood" can convey the deep experience of fighting for the future of Meliora, side by side with your friends?

Soon we will face an enormous challenge that no single magician can overcome... In The Wizards - Brotherhood you'll be able to ally yourself with other mages and together defeat the evil that threatens the world of Meliora! But we are sure you already know that, don't you? 😃

We know you've been waiting for this information! In fact, we were looking forward to finally sharing it with you too! We are extremely happy to see your excitement and enthusiasm for the upcoming Multiplayer Mode DLC, so we decided to collect your questions asked over the past few weeks and... answer them in the form of FAQ!

We hope that the list of questions below contains all the answers you are looking for.

[h2]The Wizards - Dark Times Multiplayer Mode DLC FAQ[/h2]

1. When will the DLC be released?

- We plan to start beta testing in March or April - we will have to go through the first testers' opinions and find out how many problems arise during the beta, but we're aiming for the first half of the year! (Please don't take it as a promise!)

2. Will the premiere take place on all platforms at the same time?

- Steam will be the first. Soon after, the DLC will be released on other platforms.

3. How much will the Multiplayer Mode DLC cost?

- It will be completely free! We mean... we love you, dear players, and we want to thank you for your continued support! Thanks to your feedback we can make our games better and better! You already paid for our game once!

4. How many players will be able to join the game?

- Up to three players. Each of them will be able to take on the role of: Fire Mage, Frost Mage and Storm Mage.

5. Will there be new spells?

- Oh yes! There will definitely be a lot (and I mean - a lot) of new spells! Some of the previous ones have undergone modifications, but still, players will discover that they have many new ways to defend Meliora!

6. Will players be able to support each other's spells?

- Of course! All the elements at your disposal will interact with each other, and certain spell combinations may amplify others. This means that your team will have to learn to adapt to the current situation and use a variety of tactics.

7. And what about opponents? Will we see new types of enemies?

- Definitely! Ultimately, we will have to face five completely new kinds of enemies. But there's more - the foes you already know from the basic version of the game will also appear in new varied variants - requiring a different approach and cooperation between players to defeat them.

8. Will the graphics be improved?

- Many aspects have undergone a great revitalization. We improved the appearance of most spells and added new ones. We've also been working on the quality of textures and models. You can expect an improvement, however, it won't be a complete revolution.

9. What will the core / loop of the gameplay look like?

- You and your friend will start the game in a special hub containing a magic portal. After crossing the portal, you will be sent on a quest taking place on two maps (randomly selected from a wide pool of maps) with different objectives and tasks. Collecting crystals and transporting them to the right place? Sure! Destroying specific items around the zone? Got it! Fighting off waves of enemies? Yep! Of course, there will be more kinds of such challenges.

After beating these maps you will proceed to the boss map, where your spellcasting skills will be put to the ultimate test ːsteammockingː

But hey - there's more! After extensive testing, we gave up the idea of a Co-Op Campaign in favor of a more varied, replayable experience for up to three players. Having that in mind, we plan to introduce more Multiplayer modes in the future - more info on this soon!

10. Will there be a cross-platform connection (e.g. Steam x Quest Store)?

- We are currently testing this feature, but it is too early to determine if it will appear in the DLC.

11. Will there be an in-game voice chat?

- We make every effort to introduce voice chat into the game. After all, wizards have to get along somehow!

* Please note that there are still a few months left until the DLC release, so our plans may (slightly) change.

Co-Op Multiplayer Coming to Dark Times

Greetings Wizards,

While it's still a couple months away, we're very excited to announce that for the very first time in The Wizards series, you will be able to cast spells with your friends in a special cooperation arena mode!

In addition to the new game mode, entirely new enemies are in the works as well. The total number of new features is yet to be announced.

The content update is planned to arrive at the beginning of Q4 2021. A series of other new updates, including enhancing the story campaign, is planned further into 2021 and 2022.
