NEW UPCOMING PATCH "We can be heroes" coming July 5th!

Hello warriors!

We hope you're all okay! :) The Last Spell has been out for... nearly a month?! Wow, times surely does fly.

We have some great news for our players! We have a patch incoming next week! On Monday July 5th, the "We can be heroes" patch will be released!
NEW PATCH! We can be heroes!
We're happy to finally announce the upcoming release of the next patch for The Last Spell.

This patch will be called "We can be heroes" and it will be released on July 5th... That's right, NEXT WEEK!

Here's a few things included in this update:

Character Customization!
That was a feature VERY requested by the players! Now, you'll be able to create your own characters, with their own names and all, and lead them to their death unclear fate.

Keys Remapping
Another highly requested feature: Players will now be able to remap the keys as they want :)

There are other requested features that will be added in the game, but we'll keep them as a surprise for the release ;)

We also have some news of everything that happened this month!
100,000 Warriors?!
That's right, more than 100,000 warriors joined the fight in less than a month. This is... a LOT! We're delighted, because it nearly doubled our more optimistic expectations for the lifetime of the game! Also, we now have 91% of positive reviews on Steam, and we're super happy about it, this means that many of you are enjoying the game so far!

(By the way, if you haven't already, don't forget to review the game on Steam! It's VERY helpful for us!)

This past month has been amazing, and it's a great reward for us after 3 years of work to see so many people enjoy the game. Thank you
This past month
For this past month, we've been mostly focused on big fixing. Thanks to all of you, we were able to fix many nasty bugs that were found in the game! Obviously, before being able to work on the balancing and adding new content, this was our huge priority.

However, we didn't only focus on bugs!

We also released our roadmap, that you can see here:

We added a new feature: HP/Mana regen are now displayed in the main HUD of the heroes!

We also started to balance the game, thanks to player feedback, the most important one being the defenses!
 • Can’t dodge this: Stun Trap, Damage Trap, Slow Trap, Ballista, Mounted Ballista and Catapult now have the No Dodge skill effect.
 • Friendly traps: Damage Trap now only hits enemies, meaning that both your Heroes and your other buildings should be safe. How considerate of them!

Now that the game is more stable, we're going to focus on balancing and new content! Which brings us to our next upcoming patch... coming next week!

Finally, we will also be doing a livestream to celebrate this new update! So don't forget to join us at 4PM UTC+2 next Monday, July 5th, as Matthieu (Developer) and Bruno (Community Manager) will show you everything we've done for this new update!

Take care, warriors!

Hotfix 0.91.11 (+ HP/Mana Display in the Heroes HUD Feature totally functional!)

Hello everyone!

This will probably be the last hotfix of the week, but it's a very special one! Yesterday, we (unintentionally) added a new feature that was highly requested by players: now, HP/Mana regen are displayed in the main HUD of the heroes! At first, that feature was supposed to be released a little later on in our roadmap, but it's now ingame, so we hope you'll enjoy it :)

However, it wasn't working properly, and was also causing refresh issues. Now it's all fixed and functional! :)

Changelog
- HP/Mana regen are displayed in the main heroes HUD
- HP/Mana regen are also displayed in the HP/Mana tooltips
- Bug fixes of the HP/Mana bars not properly refreshing

Don't forget to update your game!

Main Hero HUD - Health & Mana bar refresh issue

Hello everyone,

We are aware that an issue is affecting the main hero HUD, resulting in the HP and Mana bar not refreshing properly.

We're working as fast as we can to produce a fix. We'll let you know as soon as the issue is resolved. Hopefully, it'll be applied tomorrow.

In the meantime, these two workarounds will allow you to see your current health and mana:
 • check your bar in the world (upon the head of your heroes)
 • open your character sheet

We apologize for this inconvenience.

Roadmap available!

Hey survivors!

Alright, the game has now been out for nearly two weeks, and one thing you've been requesting is the Roadmap!

*drum roll* There it is!! :)

A couple of things to note:
 • This is the roadmap as it was designed TODAY. This means that it's very likely to change over time.
 • The roadmap will be available on the store page, so you won't have to look for this post when you want to check it again :)
 • The "???" will be community suggestions or secret surprises ;)
 • We'll update this roadmap as we get closer to the different updates!

So, now, the next step for us is the "Early July" update, which will bring a VERY requested feature: the Character Customization, among other things!

Happy surviving!
