Hello everyone!
- Fixed a bug that didn't correctly apply the damage inflicted by enemies during a boarding (WARNING: boardings will be more dangerous)
- Fixed a bug that did not apply a bonus/malus to the attack power of sailors during a boarding depending on the morale level
- Fixed an exemplary pirate hanging event in a pirate city, this will no longer happen
- Added the "Empty the scuttlebut" option to the combat result sheet
- Added privateer contracts: Letters of Marque
Letters of marque could be obtained during the war.
These will give you discounts with the merchants of the people in question and improve your chances of survival if you are defeated during boardings with your enemies, as you will be treated as prisoners.
In return, you will have to hand over a sum of gold every x watches.
An officer will be present in the towns of the people in question a few quarters before the deadline for handing over the gold, to pay you what you owe.
A new type of new start following a defeat during a boarding may be possible if you are under contract.
- Related achievement added: Be a privateer serving a nation for 100 watches without a single late payment
