New year, new cameos!

Hello you wonderful beans, a new year has dawned, and it felt fitting to do a bit of tweaks and tinkerings on Orgynizer, to make the build stable and clean while I'm off hosting silly gamejams and working on other projects. Enjoy!

Patch v.2.25.6 is out:
  • 2 new lovely cameo character, say hello to JamBerri and Gronk (from our https://ko-fi.com/lizardfactory/commissions campaign)
  • 5 new base game character.
  • Improved the Mod handler, making it easier to toggle individual mod content on/off.
  • Forcing in modded content + Twitch users lets Twitch users in first, Modded content secondarily.
  • 5 new activities.
  • Fixed some annoying strange corner case bugs.
  • 1 new toy.
  • New Mod character handle : GUEST_TWITCH (Twitch name connects to the character ingame).

End-of-year update

Hey gang, we are at the end of the year, but through wonderful streamers like JayjayX819 and RavenAlternative, we have noticed some edge-case issues that can mess up with dragging elements.

While I would love to say I fixed the bug for good, the bug is so hard to reproduce that what I can say is that the code around it has been cleaned up a bit, and two safeguards have been put in to try and catch it. If it still occurs, let me know.

Cameo spots still open

Also, a lot of people have been asking if it is still possible to make an appearance and support both us and a good cause, and I'm happy to let you know the Trevor Project Cameo thing is still open at : LizardFactory's Ko-Fi page

Patch notes (v.2.24.1):

+ Fixed and cleaned some dragging/popping issues.
+ Cleaned out some typos.
+ Mod content now support rgb() values in addition to Hex.
+ Not both requests no longer trigger on two rooms, since that's not possible.
+ Added two sneaky easter eggs.

Tweaks and Squeaks! Optimizing orgies we are.

Hey gang, I have been tinkering away on Orgynizer, trying my best to optimize the puzzle creation experience, while hunting down some strange and rogue bugs.

I hope you can feel the difference when the puzzle is being generated, and I still have a lot of areas I can now improve.

New in version **v.2.23.1**:
+ Custom play mode is now more stable, more settings to come.
+ Cleaned out a lot of gunk! So puzzle generation should now be smoother.
+ Fixed some bugs that caused retries, which should reduce the retries per level.
+ Some mechanics are now less "spammy" and only write guest demands if they are of mechanical interest.
+ Stronger internal tools for future optimization hunting.
+ Stronger seed systems for RNG testing.
+ Random tweaks and twinkies.

Time to get freaky and cooky

We are once again gathered under the glow of the hallow moon, ready to indulge in the dark rituals of the night... And Clara brought brownies!!!

Welcome back to another round of Spooktober in Orgynizer, we have dusted off a lot of content from last years Halloween celebration plus added a few more.

If for any reason you are not feeling the spooky spirit, you can disable seasonal content in the settings menu, and everything will be back to normal.

For the spooky month, we have:
+ New main theme theremin remix!
+ Glammed up main menu and interface.
+ Even more silly puns for game completion.
+ Lots of NPCs are dressing up for the event.
+ Many rooms now have spooky easter eggs hidden in the graphics.


Also some minor fixes and tweaks:
+ Reduced memory footprint
+ Fixed issue where scroll view in the tooltip did not properly react to mouse over.
+ Improved Settings panel

If people are interested, I'm considering making a "always Halloween" mod as well.

Getting Spooktober-ready with v. 2.18

We are getting ready for a month of frights and delights.

Version 2.18.1 patch notes:
  • Global performance optimization on puzzle creation.
  • Added some tooltips to the settings menu.
  • Copied the Twitch settings to the main settings menu.
  • Fixed bug where ding-dongs would not appear on top of the screen.
  • Fixed a handful of minor bugs.
  • Reworked some activities and balancing issues.
  • Fallback audio for Mod activities.
  • Prepping soundtrack and easter eggs for Spooktober.
  • Improving !avoid and !desire commands.
