New Update Arrives! They Came from the Depths of the Earth

Hi everyone,
We are ready with a new update. Exploding Giant Mites and two new Talents Stones added along with some new items and improvements. We changed the starting Talent Stones of Exile Prince and Fire Acrobat with the new ones. So now they both have area of effect spells at the beginning and they are more fun to play. See below the details of the new update:

ADDITIONS
  • Fire Breath Talent Stone: Unleash a cone of fire damaging multiple enemies
  • Poison Spray Talent Stone: Unleash a cone of poison damaging multiple enemies
  • Large Potion of Vitality: Gives 75 stamina and 75 health.

CHANGES
  • Fire Acrobat now starts with Fire Breath and Dreadful Strike talent stones.
  • Exiled Prince now starts with Frost Blade and Poison Spray talent stones.
  • Reduced Fireball stamina cost to 40 from 45.
  • Changed volcanic stone image to a more suitable one
  • Changed the mouse cursor of ranged attack to a bow icon. It used to be a target icon.
  • Perks for bravery skill improved. They are changed as follows:
    Beginner: Every point gives +4 health and +3 mind resistance
    Competent: You deal +25% more damage when your health is below 25%
    Qualified: You gain 25% of your stamina when you are critically hit
    Specialist: You deal +25% more damage when your health is below 50%
    Master: You gain 50% of your stamina when you are critically hit

Development News: Attack of the Giant Mites!

Hi Everyone,
Here is the news about the next update. One of the highlights is a new monster type: Giant Mites. These monstrous creatures explode when killed. Their explosion is as powerful as a fireball. If you kill them near a tree in the forest, the tree will explode and a wood golem may appear. So hero needs to be extra careful about an unwanted chain reaction.



Giant Mites come with several different versions named Magmablast, Lava Dweler, Flamewalker, Ashbringer. They have all magma-like explosive shells. They drop different kinds of materials as well as some gems, since they come from the depths of the world.



There are some new talent stones in the works too. One of them is Fire Breath, a fire spell in a cone shape. It is suitable for the fire acrobat character. But as always, any hero can use it.



We now have a battle music for the fights with the bosses. It was one of the long due community requests and makes the boss fights more intense. But of course you can turn it off at the options menu if you prefer.

We also added Large Potion of Vitality. It gives 75 health and 75 stamina. It will be a valuable potion for the adventurer since it has the effect of two potions in one and saves some inventory space.

New Update Arrives! Hunter of the Haunted Town

Hi everyone,
We are ready with a new update that introduces some otherworldly situations and a new talent stone to deal with them.

A new threat is unleashed at Terra Randoma. Ghosts and Phantoms now can be seen at towns haunting them. Fortunately a powerful new talent stone has been uncovered for ranged attack characters that deals area of effect damage. See below the details.



Update notes for version 0.70.25
ADDITIONS
  • A new talent stone: Rain of Arrows. It is an area of effect power that deals damage to 3x3 squares. It’s quite powerful and requires 35 stamina as well as arrows to cast. It scales with hero’s ranged damage.
  • A new incident: Ancient Battlefield. Hero may discover an ancient battlefield when traveling on the overworld. Here is the in-game text about it: "You found a piece of wasteland in the middle of the wilderness like a scar on the face of earth. It seems there has been a brutal battle here. There are skeleton remains of ancient soldiers everywhere."
  • A new object to interact with: Skeleton Remains. This is a chest like object. When interacted, hero can loot it or it can spawn a skeleton warrior.
  • A new object to interact with: Dead Tree. This tree is found at the ancient battlefields. Hero can chop it down. It doesn’t give any loot but sometimes a ghost may spawn (with valuable ectoplasm).
  • A new town crisis: Haunted Town. Towns can be haunted by ghosts. Hero can't enter the town until he deals with the ghosts.
  • A new material that drops from ghosts: "Vial of Sulfur Dust".


CHANGES
  • Hunter character background now starts with "Rain of Arrows" talent stone in addition to "Eagle Eye".
  • Skeletons drop more valuable loot including rings.
FIXES
  • Eating and resting at tavern was lasting more than it should when it is raining. Now it is fixed.
  • Fixed the visual of druid's talent stones at the character creation screen.
  • Fixed a bug that occurs if the hero takes on a quest exactly at 11 o'clock and affects dialogue options.


Ancient Battlefields and Other Curiosities

Hi Everyone,
Last week we worked on some new content for the next update. We added a new object to interact with: Skeleton Remains. This is a chest like object that the hero can loot or it can spawn a skeleton warrior.



Skeleton Remains can be found at the dungeons. There is also a new overworld incident where you will find plenty of them: The Ancient Battlefield. Here is the in-game text about it: "You found a piece of wasteland in the middle of the wilderness like a scar on the face of earth. It seems there has been a brutal battle here. There are skeleton remains of ancient soldiers everywhere."



We improved the skeleton’s item drops also. They now may drop a ring or a valuable gem in additon to usual rusty equipment or bone dust.



We also added a new town situation. Haunted Town. Towns can be haunted by ghosts. Hero can't enter the town until he deals with the ghosts at the town battlemap. That’s all for now. Thanks for reading. May the tides bring you triumph!



Version 0.70.10

Here is a small fix.

Fixed an issue about Druid character start. At the character creation screen it was written that he would start with two-handed weapon skill, but he started with one-handed skill and a short sword. Now it is corrected and he starts with two-handed skill and a staff.
