Here is a small fix.

Fixed an issue about Druid character start. At the character creation screen it was written that he would start with two-handed weapon skill, but he started with one-handed skill and a short sword. Now it is corrected and he starts with two-handed skill and a staff.

Another small update with some changes and bug fixes...

CHANGES
  • Meditation skill now reduces food consumption with every point.
  • Lowered the power of fireball talent stone a little. It was becoming too powerfull at higher levels.
  • Lowered the price of fireball from 6000 to 5500.
  • Changed some of the talent stones's stamina costs.



FIXES
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes clicking a talent stone on the action bar throws an arrow under the talent stone if there is an enemy there.
  • Fixed a bug where ghosts were affected by traps although they are flying.
  • Fixed a bug where flying creatures won't go to spikes although they are unaffected by them.

This is a small update with bug fixes...

FIXES
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the new Talent Stones don't calculate the damage properly and show no damage.
  • Fixed an issue where sometimes the ranged attack icon doesn't show up on an enemy although the enemy is in range. If we mouse over again then it was showing correctly.

New Update Arrives! Way of the Arcanist

Hi Everyone,
We are ready with a new update! This is a big update where we added seven new talent stones. They are mostly area of effect spells except Teleport. The other additions are staves, traps and a new character background: Arcanist. See below the details.



Update notes for 0.70.07

ADDITIONS
  • Teleport: Hero can teleport anywhere in 5 square range instantly.
  • Fireball: An area of effect spell which affects 3x3 squares. The explosion affects the trees also.
  • Lightning Lance: Hero unleashes a line of lightning which damages multiple enemies as well as trees.
  • Fire Lance: Hero unleashes a line of fire which damages multiple enemies as well as trees.
  • Arctic Lance: Hero unleashes a line of ice which damages multiple enemies.
  • Cone of Frost: An ice spell with cone shape area of effect.
  • Cone of Lightning: A lightning spell with cone shape area of effect.
  • Staves: These are two handed melee weapons which also gives defense bonus.
  • Spider Webs: These slow down who steps on them.
  • Spiked Traps: These inflict bleed damage.
  • Arcanist: This is a new character background that starts with Fireball and Cone of Frost spells.
  • Added one more zoom out level


CHANGES
  • Changed the layout of the talent stones shop at the Adventurer's Guild to enhance the shopping experience.
  • Gave new Talent Stones to Sage: Lightning Lance and Teleport.
  • Grim plague disease lowers nature resistance by 20% and maximum health 10%
  • Changed lightning strike and lightning arrow talent stone images to differentiate them more
  • Tornado Kick now stuns and damages adjacent enemies.
  • Spectral Scream now gives lightning damage to adjacent enemies.
  • Hero can drain more health when in Bat form.
  • Gaining level gives 3 stamina and 3 health instead of 2 to each.
FIXES
Fixed a bug where sometimes hero can not use some talent stones immediately after arriving a battlemap and before he makes any move.



Development News: More Elemental Power for a Raging Sage

Hi everyone,
This week we continued working on more elemental spells. The new one is called Lightning Lance. This unleashes a line of lightning to any direction from the hero. It damages multiple enemies along the line. This spell is also pure intelligent based and scales with intelligence only.



Another thing we changed has to do with the balance of the game. Meditation skill is now much more improved and it further lowers the stamina cost and cooldown times of the Talent Stones.

Since we are improving the intelligent based characters, we decided to introduce the most convenient weapon too: Staves. These will be two-handed weapons. Their damage will not be too high but they will grant defense bonus as a default property. Of course they will have the usual suffix and prefixes as other weapons in the game.
