Massive ViRo Playspace Update
We have some big announcements!
We are excited to announce that our latest Dream experience titled “Ela’s Dreamscape” will be available for purchase here on Steam in one week!
Additionally, we are officially releasing our new and improved build of ViRo Playspace on Steam today and we’re making it easier than ever to access ViRo Dream Experiences. All the Dream Experiences have been updated and repackaged as Steam DLC because a lot of people were having trouble getting them using Steam's microtransaction overlay.
We’ve done a massive overhaul and improved all of the Dream Experiences, so the ones you already own should have a pretty nice makeover. They won’t show up as DLC that you own on Steam yet, but they will still be available in your account.
Going forward, we are ending support for the standalone version of ViRo Playspace and moving it exclusively to the Steam platform. This move will give us more bandwidth to focus on content creation and develop the various social features for the platform. Part of our migration to Steam is stepping away from in-game currency. Our token system was originally implemented for online features that are still in development, and we believe that switching to simple DLC items instead of in-game currency will make more sense and be easier for everyone.
We will happily help you migrate any purchased tokens still on your account to DLC content. Just fill out the form on this page and we’ll take care of it. It’s a manual process on our end so it may take a day or two.
Finally, if you’ve only ever used our Standalone app and are new to using ViRo Playspace on Steam, fear not! All of the content you own is still accessible on your account can easily be transferred over by linking your account to the Steam version of the app which you can do as soon as you launch it.
