Deep down in the Toxic World

Hello Gatewalkers!

Deep in the underground of Toxic worlds, dangerous and scary creatures are hiding. These creatures could not breathe in the toxic atmosphere on the planet’s surface, so they ventured down to the underground tunnels to survive. Now the underground caves are full of strange creatures that blind and poison their opponents to feed on their bodies.

One of the biggest of such creatures is the Smoker:


A different creature, called Elite Lucarnit, has the power of manipulating light and the minds of its enemies:


Although you might recall Molexics and Lucarnits from your previous expeditions, be warned that they come in many forms:

Last days of Open Beta

Hello Gatewalkers!

We are getting close to the end of the Gatewalkers Beta test. The servers will be open till the 17th of May, so still, there is some time to check the game out!

Open Beta is live

Greetings Gatewalkers!

Current Beta is live now, for almost a week. We hope you are enjoying all new staff and we count on your feedback.

It would be awesome if you could join our discord and share your thoughts! There is still time to check the Gatewalkers by yourself for free!


Open Beta will end on May 17.

Just a short reminder of what to expect during this round of the tests:
  • Discovering new worlds using probes; you will be able to discover T3 forest and T3 ice worlds (LINK)
  • NEW objective on ICE T3 world with new ice dungeons. (NOTE: To get to this world you need first craft an ice probe and send it via Gates!)
  • The transmutator, a device that lets you convert lower-tier resources into higher-tier resources (LINK)
  • The Guild Merchant, who will help you trade unwanted items for products made in the city (LINK)
  • XBOX and PS controller support (LINK)
  • Mouse-centric controls, similar to other aRPG but modified to take into account Gatwakers’ skill-based combat system. (LINK)
  • a lot of improvements and fixes

Beta Patch Notes 0.5.1

Greetings Gatewalkers!

Gatewalkers Beta version 0.5.1 is now live!

Patch notes:

  • fixed an issue with an empty icon and incorrect description of some items in the crafting window
  • fixed a minor linguistic bug in the description of the "Berries with herbs" item
  • fixed a minor linguistic bug in the item description "Mushrooms with herbs"
  • fixed a bug with incorrect buttons being displayed in the tooltip for solo combo
  • fixed a bug that prevented the use of a charging skill when mouse control is selected
  • fixed a bug that prevented the use of skills after quitting the game due to network connection issues
  • changed some dialogue to reflect appropriate character gender
  • a minor bug with items incorrectly displayed in the progress tree has been fixed
  • fixed a bug that caused the wrong character names to appear in the party panel
  • fixed a bug that caused the ground tiles to be displayed incorrectly in caves in the ice world
  • fixed a minor display bug where when comparing items, the lower weight of the item was considered a defect and marked in red
  • fixed a bug that caused the wrong damage value to be displayed in the description of the skill "predecessor ax"
  • fixed some minor problems with the mouse cursor at the start of expeditions
  • fixed a description tooltip of progress points on the bar in the progress tree
  • progress tree performance has been improved
  • the default binding of the action "cancel using skills" has been changed so that it does not interfere with the skill being casted
  • root will now interrupt some skills that change the owner's position
  • added missing sound effects and improved visual effect in bombardment amulet skill
  • fixed a bug that allowed the probe to be used multiple times
  • when playing with mouse, character should now properly interrupt run animation upon activating interaction
  • hair and armor on character should now properly change color when using Stasis skill
  • improvement the overall stability of the game
