Mahou Mating Current State
Hey. This is an update for any of you who are looking forward to Mahou Mating and wondering what's going on with its development, and why it's taking so long to show any progress.
The game has been at a standstill for a while now, with very little progress being made. I announced a while back that I was discarding a lot of content from the currently-playable demo version and remaking everything from scratch. I even showed some examples of character art from a new artist I worked with in connection with Critical Bliss, the publisher. Since then, that arrangement proved to have its own difficulties. I'll spare the details, but rest assured, I knew things had to change again if this game was ever going to reach a final release.
I've once again had to find a new art team for the game, and I did so a few months ago now. Slimy Sextet, my other game currently in development, has had all of its art assets finished, and I've now hired Moruno Creative, the studio that made them, to now work on Mahou Mating's art. Since I've already worked with them before to successfully create a game's worth of great-looking assets, I feel very confident that they'll give this game a new, fresh look that will bolster the quality of the game.

In addition, I also have some big plans regarding the game's content. Rather than having all of the Cg artwork be static images with variations for facial expressions and such, I'm hoping to have most, if not all, CG and sex scenes be animated. As before, I'm also planning full voice acting, though that won't be close to ready for a good long time.
I apologize that things have taken so long to get moving since the game's original announcement, and original demo. I definitely didn't expect the game to have the development problems it had, but I am now more hopeful than ever that the game will reach a level of quality it couldn't have before.
I will need to focus on Slimy Sextet for a while still to finish it up and get it released to the public, but after that, I plan to finally focus on this game until it's finished, with nothing else to distract or delay from it.
