Experience and games update
We've been working to improve the user experience and sand off some of the rough edges. This update includes a number of quality of life changes to make things work more smoothly.
The Play in VR experience will now automatically disable 3D, and auto-quit the mirror window after you quit the game. And the games list will show every supported game now, installed or not, so you no longer need to guess.
We've also added another batch of games to the supported list, which will show up in VR mode. Play with killer 3D in games like Metal Gear Solid V, Shadow of Mordor, MIrror's Edge, Resident Evil 7, Mad Max, Tomb Raider (2013), Portal 2.
We've updated the 3D mode (found in Settings tab) for people who want to experiment. This is the super-user mode, it might get confusing.
This mode now allows you to launch any game in your library into VR- but be forewarned, a lot of games won't work. However, you should have good luck with any Unity or UE4 games.
If you run into problems, please let us know on the Steam Forums
