Mini Motorways comes to Denmark!

Hello, commuters!

Our journey around the world now takes us to a country where our Mini games have never been before: Europe’s green capital, famous for its spire-filled skyline and sustainable design.

This brand-new map is renowned for its colourful architecture, iconic green patina roofs, and green-minded commuters. With Medieval spires adorning the city and plenty of waterways to navigate, Copenhagen is a richly historical destination to hone your city-planning skills.

You can also capture your European holiday like never before with our recently released Cinematic Mode! This feature immerses you in the city you’ve built, panning across the map and following your individual commuters on their journey. Copenhagen is the perfect city for a good bit of fun, so we’ve tucked away a little easter egg on the map - let us know when you’ve found it!

This update to Mini Motorways includes:
  • A brand new map: Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • The Copenhagen Metro! Train lines are making their way back to Mini Motorways for the first time since the 10-year Miniversary Update
  • Improvements and additions to our Cinematic Mode, offering deeper immersion and better UI for exploring your bespoke cities.
  • A visual easter egg hidden away in the map - best of luck spotting it!
  • New Achievements, Daily Challenges, Weekly Challenges, and City Challenges.
  • Various minor bug fixes and performance improvements.

Our 2025 roadmap has landed - find out what’s in store!

Since launching Mini Motorways on Steam in 2021, we’ve been so fortunate to have your support and enthusiasm. The last four years have been a blur, but we’ve never run out of ideas for how to make the game even bigger and better, so we’re stoked to share our 2025 roadmap with you all!

2025 promises to be a big year for Mini Motorways, and we’re kicking things off in the usual fashion with a map update early in the year. However, later on this year, we’re launching a highly-anticipated community feature that’s been cooking for some time. Our team is immensely proud of the work they’ve put in on this one and we think you’re going to love it, too.

Rounding out the year, we wouldn’t be Dinosaur Polo Club without a December update of some kind, and we’re already hard at work on our December map! We’re hoping it comes as a bit of a fun surprise - December is the season for that sort of thing, right?

Thank you again for your support, your time, for helping your fellow players learn the ropes - let’s make this another great year!

A small patch fixing an issue with the colour of the Great Barrier Reef on the Cairns map while using colourblind mode.

Come on down under to Cairns, Australia, and get your beach on!

G’day, city planners! Travel with us to the land down under as we visit the stunning town of Cairns, Australia, in the latest update to Mini Motorways! Known as the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef, Cairns is a nature lover’s paradise fit for the best explorers. Cairns you handle it?!

This tropical haven is situated between lush rainforest and rainbow-hued reefs in Northern Queensland. Create an efficient road network to get Cairn’s citizens from Palm Cove to the Esplanade Lagoon in no time.
