Welcome to the finals of the RISK Classic World Championship Season 1 2023! After 7 weeks, this community-run tournament is reaching its climax.

You’ve all done brilliant (much better than I would do!). 7 weeks ago, we had nearly 600 signups, we have now reached the final 6.

The 6 finalists have maintained a perfect record by winning all of their matches thus far. This unprecedented achievement has set the stage for an intense and highly anticipated finale, as these skilled competitors vie for the ultimate title of Tournament Champion.

RISK does not modify dice rolling odds in favour of computer players in any of the difficulty settings.

Greetings Generals and welcome to Community Bulletin #16. You may have noticed a space theme throughout this bulletin. Well, that’s because our upcoming map pack is out of this world!

There’s so much to discuss in this bulletin:

With update 3.11 releasing very soon, here’s a breakdown of what you can expect to see in the weeks following the update.

Space Battle Map Pack

The community has shown lots of love towards our sci-fi map packs, so this time we’re taking our conquest to the stars. This highly requested space inspired map pack includes four intergalactic maps. Get ready to launch your battles into space for universal domination.

A New Season Begins

The end of March also brought with it a brand new season! Season 10 has begun!

RISK was featured as part of Digital Tabletop Fest: Blood & Dice, which took place on Steam. We love seeing more people playing and celebrating RISK!



Q2 Roadmap

With one quarter behind us and three more to go this year, here’s what’s in store for RISK in 2023 Q2.

We have:

Our team will also be working hard on our multiplayer engine overhaul over the coming months, which we hope to release later in the year. This is a huge update for RISK and will help us resolve connection issues and cheating to provide a better multiplayer experience for the whole RISK community. This update will give us the opportunity to deliver more new game modes and modifiers beyond 2023 including secret missions, spectating, different multiplayer options and more!

Dev Q&A

We'll be hosting a live Dev Q&A in the community Discord very soon. Join the Discord server and start preparing your questions for the RISK developers. We’ll share more information about this session shortly!

Community Discord Meme Competition

Voting for Season 1 of the RISK Meme Competition is underway!



The community have kicked off a meme competition in the RISK community Discord and now it’s time to vote for your favourite memes!

Due to the high volume of submissions received, voting will be done in two stages: Eliminations & Finals.
