Patch 2.0.0.9 on the Public Branch

  • Animations for village statuses

  • Well Earned Rest achievement not working for host/solo
  • Warm Blooded Achievement not working for host/solo
  • Ground texture for fields not updating correctly if a corner of a chunk has 0,0 coordinates
  • Fish spawners should now appear correctly on the map for clients
  • An issue that could cause fish spawners to not have any fish for clients
  • Incorrect behavior of NPCs in some quests. (Loading or reloading save file will fix behaviors)
  • Children may say texts that they don't have toys, even if the player gave them a toy
  • Children don't play with the figurines given to them by the player (Oxbow)
  • Transfer whole stack as host doesn't update UI correctly (fix for: 2.0.0.8 version)
  • Sometimes talents are reset on loading the game
  • Main menu input buttons not being visible after closing join game menu
  • HUD settings for item information visibility not working properly
  • Sometimes NPCs would greet player as if they didn't know them
  • NPCs can comment on the carrying of too much weight by players who play without weight restrictions.

How to use this Steam branch
1. To add a branch, right-click on Medieval Dynasty in your Steam Library
2. Choose the Properties option in the drop-down menu
3. In the Properties window, select the “Betas” Tab
4. Enter the Beta Test Code in ”Private Betas” window

Password: MedievalStaging
5. When you access the branch, you can select Public_testing

Important!
Before changing the branch, make sure to back up your saves in case of corruption.

Saves created on one branch may not work on another, including the public one.

  • New footsteps sounds for player, npc and all animals - deep water walking
  • Sounds for a few NPC's animations
  • Quickload on solo oxbow

Fixed
  • Some cases when player character would get overwritten with another player character
  • An error that could cause desync problems between clients and host when it comes to plant state
  • Sometimes the air temperature has incorrect values
  • In some cases "Grab" interaction showed up when items were not picakable
  • Player's husband/wife can speak texts belonging to unmarried NPCs (chatters)
  • Player's wife (NPC from quest) doesn't recognize him as her husband (incorrect dialogue) [SINGLE PLAYER]
  • When child grows from infant to toddler, a ghost infant stays floating above the child's bed
  • Clients sometimes unable to interact with beds
  • Clients unable to lay down in the bed if their partner is sleeping in it
  • Players unable to lay down in the same bed if they have partners
  • Player able to sometimes interact with beds when its already occupied
  • Player sometimes having a "Free Up Workbench" prompt on the bed if there is an npc sleeping in it
  • Some fields not being interactable if they were placed on a really high or really low elevation
  • Host can assign clients' partners when they are not in the session which after some time may result in that partner marrying NPC and having double marriage
  • After loading game animals settings revert always to 100% and ommits customization. Only starts working after one season
  • On coop in the Oxbow leaving some UIs with gamepad makes character jump
  • After loading the game clients may not be able to complete more than one objective from quest that is in progress
  • Overlapping panels in new game menu
  • Removed context menu after clicking RMB on session code
  • Dialogue getting stuck after asking Stoislawa to move aside
  • Wrong dialogue text after trading with Niemila
  • Swir in some cases might have not spawned for quest (Loading or reloading save file will bring him back)

  • The development stage achievements now give every previous one as well if they were not already unlocked
  • Icons of vendors in Piastiovia
  • Basic summer weather has warmer afternoon
  • Basic spring weather has warmer night
  • Cap Coif and Short Sleeve Tunic have better hot protection

  • Changed recipe for fishing spear
  • Lumberjack, Hunters and Fishers experience rate decreased
