Bandit Simulator Dev Blog #7

Fellow bandits and rascals!

Don’t you sometimes feel like just breaking things around you? Luckly, after months of thorough research, surveys and experimentations, we came to a conclusion:

Yes, breaking stuff is fun. Now hold, me beer.

Since Bandit Simulator is the first and only of its kind, it only made sense to allow for some creative use of one's fists, punches, kicks and flying objects. We’ve added a dozen of destructibles to the game which you can tear to pieces at your will. Got stuck during a quest? No worry, just roam around and kick the sh*t out those filthy barrels and vases.

Need more gold to attend the annual Beer Festival? Look for marked crates, show ‘em whose the boss and collect the drop.

Oh, did we mention that the items you destroy often hold collectibles which you can exchange for cash later on? Well, they do, and you never know what you might find by headbutting a lonely crate sitting on a roof or a tree.

Of course, punching a crate is not as fun as kicking a guard in the n*ts flying, but we’ll get to the new melee mechanics in the future.

For now, like to post share it, add the game to your wishlist and feel free to ask us any question you might have.

Next update coming soon!

Bandit Simulator Dev Blog #6

Hello Bandits!

It’s been a while since you heard from us. We’ve been hard at work on both Bandit Simulator and our other game project - Perseverance.

We are happy to inform you that the project is alive and in active development. More than that! We have added several game features that will greatly impact your bandit experience in the game which we will share in the upcoming weeks.

What we can share for now is that we’ve polished the games locations and graphical quality a bit and improved performance. Here are a couple of new screenshots.

Moreover, as developers we currently hold complete ownership of the project. Glob Games Studios, the initial publisher, have supported us this far and we came to a mutual conclusion that it will be best for Bandit Simulator to go under our wings as the games main developers. This gives us great creative freedom to include our crazy ideas in the game.

Stay tuned for more updates on Bandit Simulator!

Bandit Simulator - Devlog #5
Hello, bandits!

Recently, we wrote mainly about the grounds and buildings. Of course, if you haven't seen it yet, we recommend you to see it.
However, today, we are going to tell you more about character production.
In the world of a bandit, you will meet many interesting characters, from simple bandits, through traders and villagers, to guards and knights.

We try to make each group unique and make sure what you can expect from it as soon as you see it.

With a few character groups, the game will also feature specific unique characters that are key to the story and will offer special items for your bandit. Of course, we won't reveal anything else here, so as not to spoil the surprise, but we can tell you in secret that not all characters will be normal.

Below we present one of the works of our graphic designers.

Bandit Simulator - Devlog #4
Hello, bandits!

We recently wrote about the outside world, forts, and stuff. If you haven't seen it, it's worth catching up.
However, today, we want to show you a piece of the city. That will be the main residence of the population in our game.

In the city, you will be able to do a lot of things to feel like a real bandit. From robbing people and engaging in fights with guards, through hijacking or port robbery tasks, to indulging in tavern games and fights.

Below we present two pictures. The city is in the production process, so everything can still change.

We are trying to approach the city optimally to simultaneously reflect the real medieval cities and create a playground for your bandit.

What special buildings should appear in your opinion in our medieval city and why?
Write your answers and remember, hit add to wishlist button, to be up to date.

Bandit Simulator - Devlog #3
Hello, bandits!

In this short dev-blog, we will tell you about the creation of some world elements in our game.
One of the most important elements of the bandit world is the abandoned the fort in the mountain. Which almost nobody wants to talk about, it is only certain that, as a result of strange events people fled this place as quickly as possible, destroying the only path behind them.

The photos below show the process of creating the terrain and the first environmental obstacles, and be warned, this is just the beginning of the challenges we will pose for you.

Therefore, if you want to get there with your bandit, a riddle and a struggle with adversities await you.

What kind of adversities do you expect on your way to the fort?
What would be the most difficult for you?

Write your answers and remember, hit add to wishlist button, to be up to date.
