[p][/p][p]We’ve noticed some of you are having trouble with getting fertilizer to work, so we wanted to share a quick guide on how to get that going.
[/p][p]There are 4 ways to get fertilizer:
[/p]

1. [p]Collect Seagrass/Kelp directly from coastal locations.[/p]
2. [p]Leave logs and plants on the ground to rot. After two in-game days, collect the organic waste left behind.[/p]
3. [p]Equip the lantern and use it to light trees/plants on fire - collect the ash once fully burned.[/p]
4. [p]Place a TON of composters - on their own, they generate fertilizer at an extremely slow rate, but adding a lot of composters does add up.[/p]

This should get your farms up and running in no time!

Also, as an extra tip: in the map view, you can hover over resources in the bottom right and it will show you some locations where you can find the relevant materials for those resource.

Outlaws have their own airship, so you'll need to put in strong defense systems to repel them. You can do so with the...[/p][p][/p][h3]Cannon Tower[/h3][p]While there’s already a mortar in the game for indirect bombardment of enemy camps, this cannon fires directly at airships and infantry. Both you and the outlaws get access to cannon towers.[/p][p][/p][h3]New Outlaws & Larger Outlaw Camps[/h3][p]With the Airship Update, outlaw camps get much larger with new buildings and three new outlaws to battle against.[/p][p][/p][p]Scrapper[/p]

• [p]Scrappers hang back from the frontline and focus on repairing & rebuilding.[/p]

[p]Ringleader[/p]

• [p]Ringleaders are tough, armored elite enemies, of which there can only be one per outlaw camp.[/p]

[p]Firestarter[/p]

• [p]The Firestarter sneaks into settlements at night to start fires and then get out before they’re noticed.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]New Creature[/h3][p]The Airship Update will feature the new Devourer creature. Snappers that live for long enough eventually mutate into massive Devourers, which can eat buildings and ships.[/p][p][/p][h3]And More!

For such a small game, Overthrown has surprisingly big ambitions. At first glance at the Steam page, the gameplay looked kind of choppy for a game that has been in development since July 2024. I expected my time with Overthrown to be better than the mixed rating on Steam suggested, but my playthrough ended up a little disappointing.

To give Overthrown a fair shot, I began by creating a world on the challenging difficulty on a large map size. The map size is really negligible; it is a pretty fitting playground for a game meant for six people playing multiplayer. I played on a single-player world, though, so I had the entire map to myself.
