Hotfix 0.7.3

Frozenheim update 0.7 - Kairve Saga was the largest Early Access content update in Frozenheim, up to date. With all the new stuff it introduced to the game, some concerns have been raised by the players as it also came with some bugs and not all the new mechanics have been balanced enough. Thank you for your wonderful support in providing us with feedback, that makes it so much easier for our little team to handle the further development of an ambitious and large-scaled project, such as Frozenheim. While we keep working on the next content update, we've stepped to the side and took some time to further improve on what's already available within the game. Today's Hotfix 0.7.3 addresses the following:

New features:
  • Added spectator mode to multiplayer when lost
  • Added multiple warning systems
  • Settlers can be recruited in outposts


Bug fixes & polish:
  • Fix multiple game crashes
  • Fix issues with barricade in Kairve campaign 1
  • Fixes and quest improvements of Kairve campaign 2
  • Improved responsiveness of attack order
  • Fix scaling of campaign menu for different resolutions
  • Fix for hunter’s hut banner not updating properly
  • Allow palisades to be build deeper in the coast
  • Fix for warship getting stuck in some cases after battle
  • Add archer skill when on naval unit
  • Fix for repair button not working in some cases
  • Fix for watchtowers not dealing damage in some cases [MP]
  • Fix for weaponsmith panel upgrade queue
  • Fix for visibility of naval units during cinematics
  • Improvements for warrior movement
  • Fix scout moving to “Vision” skill location
  • Improvements for UI scaling
  • Improvements for building snapping system
  • Fix for archers approaching enemies in range
  • Fix bandits spawning in mid air [MP]
  • Fixes for orchard scaling and replication
  • Improvement for Esc key behavior in all HUD panels
  • Added missing interface sounds
  • Performance improvements
  • Fix granary not updating properly after destruction
  • Fix autosaves displaying wrong info when overridden


Game balance changes:
  • Removed rioting villagers penalty
  • Increased delay between penalties 2x
  • Reduced amount of deserting from 1 team to 1 warrior
  • Reduced amount of leaving workers to 2
  • Limit amount of stolen resources
  • Reduced Feast Cost

The Trickster God - Loki, seems to have his eye fixed on Frozenheim update 0.7 - Kairve Saga. More bug reports keep coming in, and we're as much grateful for the fact that you're sending them in, as we are sorry that your experience with the game has not been spotless. We keep on tracking those pesky bugs, and squishing them one by one. Hear that, Loki? You. Shall. Not. Win! Today's Hotfix 0.7.2 tackles the following issues:

Bugfixes and enhancements:
  • Fixed quest progression issues in campaign 1
  • Fixed ship expedition on campaign 3
  • Fixed gates not opening in campaign 4
  • Added a possible fix for crashes in campaign 4
  • Fixed stacking of obelisks effects

We're glad to hear you're enjoying your time with the newest Frozenheim update 0.7 - Kairve Saga. Thank you for your continued support and feedback. Thanks to you, we've been able to locate and address some issues that arose with yesterday's update. Here's what today's Hotfix 0.7.1 puts to order:

Bugfixes and enhancements:
  • Fix issues with resource transport in outposts
  • Fix compatibility of dialogs in older saves
  • Fix Team cap for mobilization skill
  • Fix unit skills on boats
  • Add rally point to Breeding kennels


Balance changes:
  • Added happiness tiers requirement to houses
  • Reduced palisade construction time to 25%
  • Reworked tech tree cost balance

Update 0.7.0. - Kairve Saga

As the crow flies, another content update arrives - swiftly and inevitability. First of the four hero sagas, the single player campaigns, arrive today in Frozenheim with a slew of new features and improvements. See for yourselves!

The details of the 0.7.0. update can be found below. But make sure you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post, as we have something more to announce. As the full release is drawing near and this amazing Early Access run is slowly coming to an end, we'd like to give you some idea of what to expect in the final months before we go 1.0.

  • Balance of weaponsmith upgrade costs

Today, we also want to share with you an updated Early Access road map detailing the upcoming development milestones in the final months before the full release.



It has already been 6 Early Access updates since the May 2021 EA launch. As you can see you can expect two more... and the third one from now, will bring the game to its 1.0 state and a full launch. Please note, that the price of the full game will be higher than in Early Access. This spring we will also share with you our plans for future, post-release game updates. We're really grateful for all of the support we're getting from you, the players, and it's only natural that the game will be receiving further updates after the full launch.

Hotfix 0,6.2

Northernfolk!

We have a special gift for you as the year ends - the last update of 2021! Faith plays a big role in Vikings’ lives and we wanted to make sure that there is a proper place for praying. Therefore we added a new building to the game - the Altar! Place it in your settlement, assign some villagers to pray, and watch your discontent people calm down.


We've also made some adjustments that should improve your experience with the game. If you're wondering about the details of this update, check out the full patch notes below.
