Wild Terra 2: New Lands News

Early Access has begun! Start playing now, 48 hours before Steam launch

[previewyoutube][/previewyoutube]

The servers are running. There will be no more wipes in Early Access!

We remind you that after the wipe, you must re-enter your rewards key. If you have lost this key (it was sent in an email from Xsolla after payment), contact https://help.xsolla.com/

Thanks a lot for your support and help! Thanks to you, Wild Terra 2 is actively developing. It is impossible to express in words how grateful we are for everything you do for the game and the community!

We are worried that we did not manage to do much of what we promised you for the Early Access launch. Game development is a complex process in which it is impossible to consider all the difficulties that will have to be faced. This is especially true for such small teams as ours - only four people are working on the game.

Our plans are still up to date with many major Early Access updates!
- Further improvements to Farming, Fishing, Cooking, and the addition of Livestock.
- A new continent every season! With its own conditions, inhabitants, dungeons, resources, and rewards. We plan to launch the first season by June 2021.
- Even more elements for building houses, creating furniture and decor.
- Special activities for solo players.
- Skills Cartography, Witchcraft, Bard, improvements of Healing.
- Improved combat system with even more variety of equipment, abilities, and roles.
- New types of weapons and skills to use them: Crossbows, Two-handed, Polearms, Weapons in both hands, Throwing bombs, Staffs and Musical instruments.
- Castle sieges and PvP tournaments.
- Guild improvement. Special dungeons with activities, bosses, and rewards. Guild Wars.

Packs will be available for purchase in the next 48 hours! Hurry up and get unique pets, mounts, helmets, cloaks, and other rewards that can no longer be obtained in any other way. Soon these rewards will become real rarities! (you can also get rewards from multiple packs on one account)

Update 2.0.260. Chat redesign, Feudal lords and Peons
The wipe before Early Access release will take place on January 26 at 9:00 am PST.
In this update, chat has been completely redesigned, adding origin selection when creating a character, a helmet for Builder pack owners, and other improvements and fixes.
Changelog. Update 2.0.260
Added Italian and Japanese languages. Thanks to everyone who helps translate the game!

Completely redesigned Chat
- Chat channels are now tabbed. You can choose to display all messages at once, or messages from a specific channel, for example, "Trade".
- Now in the drop-down list, you can choose which channel your message will be sent to.
- Now you can scale the chat window, move it, or completely hide it, leaving only the icon.
- Added display of notifications about new messages. For example, if the active tab is currently "Private", then when new messages appear in the "Group" or "Guild" channel, you will see a notification next to the tab icon.
We will continue to improve chat, with new features coming in the future, such as “Show Item in Chat”.

Feudal lords and Peons
- Now, when creating a character, you will be offered a choice of origin: create a Feudal lord, or a Peon. (All current characters will automatically become Feudal Lords).

Feudal Lord:
- May have land for buildings (i.e. own the Dominium)..
- He starts on the Starting Island, after completing tutorial quests, he will go to the continent with a base set of resources, buildings, and money.
- You can have no more than 1 feudal lord on your account.

Peon:
- Can not have their own land.
- Starts on a continent with no money or resources (skips starting quests).
- You will need to become a resident of the feudal lord (you can settle on your Feudal Lord land).

Other changes and improvements
- Added a helmet for the Builder pack. To receive it - enter your Builder rewards key.
- Now, as a reward for completing many quests, money is given, so after sailing from the Starting Island, a good initial capital is already being collected.
- Now you will see a pointer on the direction your ship (which is being built for sailing to the Continent).

Bug fixes
- Fixed a bug due to which deleting a character did not destroy his dominium.
- Fixed a bug due to which merchants were not visible after re-entering on the server.
- Fixed a bug with the player's portrait that occurred when adding him to the town hall.
- Fixed a bug due to which the icon for the Addictive effect was the same as for the Fortitude effect.
- Fixed a bug due to which some characters in Polish were not displayed.

Wild Terra 2 - Steam Early Access launch. Memo about wipe and access packs
When is the game will launch on Steam Early Access?
January 28th. The exact launch time, as well as the wipe, will be announced later.
Will there be a wipe?
January 26th, we will hold a wipe procedure (removal of all current progress). We have no plans to make wipes after the game goes into Early Access.
When can I start playing?
All Settlers, Conquerors, Heroes, their invited friends, and special packs owners can play now. However, keep in mind that your progress will be completely reset during the wipe!

Owners of ALL access packs (as well as invited friends) will be able to start playing on January 26th (48 hours before the game goes into Early Access) with all progress saved.
It will be possible to purchase the game on Steam and start playing on this version from January 28th.
How much will the game cost on Steam?
The cost of the game will be about 15% higher than the price of the Builder pack. Buying an access pack now is a great way to save money, earn extra rewards, and start playing earlier.
Will the current access packs or their rewards be available for purchase after January 28th?
No, the current access packs were created to provide unique rewards to all those who support the project in the earliest stages. On January 28th, these packs will no longer be available for purchase, and their rewards will become genuinely exclusive and rare!
How do I get rewards of my pack after the wipe?
You will need to re-enter your in-game reward key.
If you have lost this key (in an email from Xsolla after payment), contact the technical support of the payment system for its recovery: https://help.xsolla.com/
Will there be a problem with a lack of territories or resources at the start?
- Firstly, we will introduce restrictions against the seizure of territory by twinks (one dominium per account) and also add a way to skip the starting island with some limits (inability to have your dominium, but only to be a resident of other players),
- secondly, during the free periods (about 13,000 people played during the Free Week), we have already fixed several problems with the lack of spawn and territories,
Thirdly, because many will start playing two days earlier, they will be able to move to the mainland even before the start of Early Access.
If the number of players far exceeds our expectations, then the solution to the problem will be the opening of new servers.
Why does Wild Terra 2 need Early Access? How long will the game be in Early Access?
Answers to these and other questions can be found on our page on Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/1134700
