Wild Terra 2. Reports from the devfield. Update



New Content:
  • Limestone deposits have been added to the forests of Wild Terra 2. The extracted resource can be burned in a small bloomery to produce lime.
  • Nettle bushes grew on the Graveyard. You can make a Nettle juice solution, and then apply it when tanning the skin (instead of a Gallbladder juice solution).
  • From raven corpses, you can get feathers for making arrows.
  • Copper ingot, copper and bronze arrows recipes are added to the craft.
  • Added new copper and bronze tools.


Fixes:
  • When entering the game or resurrecting, a character can no longer be on the territory of someone else’s dominium, he will appear outside of it.
  • Passages to the Graveyard, crossings over the river and the entrance to the Church can no longer be captured by building a dominium, and in these areas, new resources or animals should no longer appear.
  • Fixed work of production machines. Now, the main resources in the production will be deducted evenly from all slots.
  • Fixed a bug due to which a campfire did not increase the speed of health recovering.
  • Fixed a bug due to which it was impossible to open the door to the house if the camera was looking at it from the side of the doorway.
  • Fixed a bug due to which a Dragon of the Hero disappeared from the character selection screen and was not created in the inventory when creating a new character.
  • Fixed a bug that appears in the game log with minimal graphics settings.



All of the above changes are already available on the test server. Testing will last until January 26th.

At the numerous requests of the players, we extended the testing until January 26th, and the gathering and mining rates were increased 3 times! The speed of craft, construction, and work of industrial buildings are also increased. We hope that now everyone will be able to test new content - fishing, building houses, blacksmithing, mining new resources and much more!

The executioner’s diary has been added, revealing his story. In addition, we have added sounds for fishing, recipes for a steel sword and a dagger, finalize some icons and fix some errors.

  • Let’s go Fishing! Get up early, dig up worms and go forward to the river - prey awaits! Each type of fish has its own pattern of behavior. Learn habits, use different fishing rods, bait, tricks and approaches. Everyone can catch a crucian, and only experienced fishermen can catch a giant catfish. In addition to 6 species of fish, you can also catch something unusual.
  • Build your own home! Parts of the classic medieval half-timbered house are added - lay the foundation, design the walls, the roof, choose the location of doors and windows. There will be even more freedom in the future!
  • Miners rejoice! Clay, tin, and copper deposits have appeared in the world. The resulting ore can be melted into ingots, and then, with sufficient Blacksmithing skill, armor and weapons can be craft.
  • Added log dominium. You will have more space for other buildings!
  • Leather armor crafting is now even closer to reality. Hunt and get hides. Dry hides, soak in a tanning vat, add lime, and a little later also oak bark. You got Leather for creating armor! Cut and stitch.

Launching a new section! Now 2 times a week we will talk about everything that we have managed to do since the last report, and sometimes about plans for the coming days. Let's go!

  • Dragon and Cerberus mounts got a “Battle Cry" - emotion to intimidate the enemy, and added new sounds. Now mounts will menacingly growl and stomp.
  • Heroes and Conquerors will be able to activate their keys to obtain mounts. Also, these animals now stand next to the owner on the character selection screen.
  • We made the production buildings more convenient. The production status is displayed, and if fuel is used, a button for starting and stopping will also appear.
  • Fixed a bug due to which sometimes it was not possible to pick up items and use a basket near the fence.


Now we are working on adding new resources and Fishing. We want to make Fishing not just a waste of time, but a really interesting activity, simple for a beginner, but extremely difficult and exciting for someone who wants to become a master and catch rare fish of the highest quality! Next time, we will talk about fishing in detail.
