Greetings knights!

Two glorious pieces of news have arrived today!

We’ve been burning through all the feedback we have received and making changes to the demo, so let’s start with the demo patch notes:

• "Best enjoyed with a controller" text on welcome
  
• Icon/link to multiplayer guide on player select screen
  
• New room layouts
  
• Custom rooms (pest room, etc.)
  
• Skills modification: No more skills on ground in floor 1
  
• Pool of available skills include 4 magic (inferno, missile, fissure, frostwall) and 3 combat (bomb, furious charge, chakram)
  
• Relic room: Addition of random option
  
• Minor changes
  
• Minor fixes

Turning up the heat for the Steam Next Fest!

The Steam Next fest will start on the 16/06 and we are so excited to be part of it! This is the perfect occasion to discover more indie studios and for us a great chance to have a little chat with you!

We will stream the 18/06 at

The following guide will walk you through the steps to play with your friends!
Please note, Ember Knights will have full online multiplayer support for Early Access!

Step 1: Install and launch the Ember Knights Combat Demo! Note, only the host needs the game installed.

Step 2: From the Main Menu, open the Steam Overlay and invite your friend.



With the game running, open the Steam Overlay (SHIFT+TAB).

From the Friends menu, right click on the friend you’d like to invite and select Remote Play Together.

Step 3: Confirm the joining player’s settings.



Step 4 (Optional): Invite up to 2 more friends.

Step 5: Close the Steam Overlay and select Play!



Have your friend join on the player select screen and you’re ready to go!
