"Early Access is a tool to develop your game with the community by giving them access to your title before it is officially released.

- Right-click on the game from the library page and select "Properties".
- Click on the "BETAS" tab.
- Select from the dropdown list “public beta”
- Press OK.
[h3]Instructions for players starting open tests:[/h3]
- Close the game.
- Back up the .CFG and .UFS2 files located in "AppData\LocalLow\MasterCode\Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2\Saves".
- Switch to the test branch on Steam.
- Create a new profile in the game. It's also possible to clone your profile from the release branch using Steam Cloud, but there is a chance of incompatibility.

- Close the game.
- Switch to the release branch on Steam.
- Launch the game; the original save will be selected automatically. You can use the save from the test branch via Steam Cloud at your own risk, but there is a chance of incompatibility.

- Close the game.
- Go to "AppData\LocalLow\MasterCode\Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2\Saves".
- Replace the .CFG and .UFS2 files with your backup.
- Launch the game, avoiding the button that downloads the save from Steam Cloud in the profiles panel.
