Ultimate Fishing® Simulator 2 News

Hello everyone,
today we are starting the last round of Playtest before the game release (22 Aug 2022). This round focus only on in-game Tournaments and I have to admit...it gets intense and you can sweat just from the virtual fishing competition ːlunar2019laughingpigː


The tournaments are divided into categories:



[h2]REGULAR TOURNAMENTS:[/h2]

• when the player lobby is full or entry time runs out, another tournament is created immediately
  
• lasts shorter than a daily tournament (50 min., 40 min.,30 min., 20 min.)
  
• max. number of participants: 10

AWARDS:

• 1st place - 70% of the prize pool, 100 ranking points
  
• 2nd place - 20% of the prize pool, 50 ranking points
  
• 3rd place - 10% of the prize pool, 20 ranking points

[h2]DAILY TOURNAMENTS:[/h2]

• a new tournament appears every 24h or when the player's lobby fills up
  
• lasts 24h
  
• number of participants: 22

AWARDS:

• 1st place - the winner takes the entire prize pool, 500 ranking points

[h2]PLAYER TOURNAMENTS:[/h2]

• all PUBLIC tournaments created by other players or invitations to PRIVATE tournaments.
  
• duration: depending on the choice of the tournament creator
  
• number of participants: at the choice of the tournament creator

AWARDS:

• 1st place - winner takes the entire prize pool, 0 ranking points

[h2]CREATE A TOURNAMENT:[/h2]
When inviting a friend to compete, you must remember to meet all the conditions:

• he must have a license for the location of your choice
  
• must have the appropriate level in the game, both minimum and maximum
  
• must have sufficient cash for the entry fee

AWARDS:

• 1st place - the winner takes the entire prize pool, 0 ranking points.

[h2]MY TOURNAMENTS:[/h2]

• All your tournaments that you are currently participating in

[h2]GENERAL RULES[/h2]

• You cannot join a tournament in the last 3 minutes of its duration.
  
• You cannot enter a tournament that you have previously joined at the last minute of its duration.
  
• You can't join a tournament if you don't have enough cash for the entry fee, the appropriate map, or level license.

Playtest will end on July 31, 2022 (23:59 CEST).

at the very beginning, we would like to thank you for participating in the tests. Until the last day, over 16,000 virtual fishermen took part in our Playtests! You guys are amazing!!!!

Today Playtests are over and have been turned off - but don't worry, it's not over! You will read some exciting news below but first...

Reading your numerous comments and posts, we have prepared a FINAL, general survey in which we have added, according to your requests, sections where you can evaluate specific fishing mechanics - float fishing, ground fishing, or spinning.

If you want to help us and influence the development/improvement of the game - we encourage you to fill in the questionnaire.

As in the previous polls, this one will also select 10 players who will receive free codes for the full version.

The winners of all surveys will be selected and notified by e-mail before the game's premiere.

[h2]Steam Next Fest: June 2022[/h2]

Ultimate Fishing Simulator 2 will be released again with the updated demo version and as many changes&improvements we will be able to do till June 13th!

[h2]Playtests: Part 2[/h2]
Another round of Playtests will be held in July, but they will be shorter (max. 7-10 days).

[h2]Early Access release[/h2]
After Playtests: Part 2 we will schedule a full game release in early access. You should expect the release somewhere at the end of the summer or autumn (we will know after 2nd playtests).
