Tavern focused Stardew Valley rival Travellers Rest expands with online co-op

If you love the charming pixelated farming of Stardew Valley but want a different kind of responsibility, Travellers Rest has the answer. Instead of tending to an ever-expanding agricultural empire, you've got a tavern to manage and grow. The Isolated Games life sim has been steadily getting better since an early access launch in 2020, and now the chaos of running a pub just got a smidge easier. That's right, Travellers Rest finally has online multiplayer, and the game's bigger than ever because of it.

Patch v0.7.0.5

  • The number of stinking beers that need to be served during the tutorial has been reduced.
  • The tutorial step that forced players to finish the stinking beers has been removed; now they are completed in an earlier step.
  • A potential softlock occurring during the tutorial if the player discarded the broom before going down to the cellar to fetch the beer has been fixed.
  • Now, the Mais in the tutorial eat and drink twice as fast to accelerate the early stages.
  • A bug that caused delivered items not to be removed from guest players' inventories when fulfilling orders has been fixed.
  • A bug that prevented exclamation marks from appearing above NPCs that players need to talk to during the tutorial has been fixed.
  • A potential lockup during the tutorial phase where a customer is being kicked out has been resolved.
  • Some sounds that were being heard by other players when they shouldn't have been corrected.
  • The localization has been updated.

  • Fixed an issue that caused blank dialogue windows to appear when certain market customers spoke.
  • Fixed an issue where multiplayer guests did not properly load the host's orders upon joining the game.
  • Fixed an issue in single-player mode where all player skills were being applied as if they were unlocked.
  • Added a 15% dead zone to the left joystick.
  • Fixed a visual issue with seagull shadows.

  • Fixed an issue where the notification for players in bed was not displayed correctly.
  • Fixed a bug that could cause tavern customers to appear outside the tavern.
  • Slightly optimized memory usage. We will continue working on further optimizations in upcoming patches.
  • Added missing localization for some texts.
