- Added a "posthumous hint" effect to show where you could have moved if you lose the quest
[h2]Quality of Life[/h2]
- Refactored event trigger code for better localization and (eventual) mod support
- We can now load event-driven item strings from external JSON files
- For example, if you want to change the Extra Pocket text that appears when you enter a stage, you would add a line called "Extra Pocket_msg_ENTER_STAGE" to English.json
- Dynamic text can be added to strings in the form of letter variables, e.g. "Reduced the stage power by $A!"
- Most items do not utilize this new system quite yet... but they will soon! Proper documentation to follow as well.
- For example, if you want to change the Extra Pocket text that appears when you enter a stage, you would add a line called "Extra Pocket_msg_ENTER_STAGE" to English.json
- Finality omen now creates a toast notification when you die

- Mastery start-of-stage effects--e.g. Spark and Spy--will now trigger before your items
[h2]Bug Fixes[/h2]
- Fixed regression related to level-up lag
- Fixed crash related to Bubbler III
- Fixed crash related to strangers dropping loot
- Cleaned up hover detection on some UI elements
- Set fake cell value cap of +12 to match visuals
- Fixed certain item properties lingering after item transformation
- Fixed a few rare instances of omen and passive negation interfering with special item properties
- Strings are now loaded at the start of the game, rather than every time a profile is selected
- Fixed a few instances of lingering particles between menus
- Fixed a crash related to stepping through a dimensional portal with Shadowbind
- Speculative fix for Novice I reading the board state incorrectly following chords
