Chapter7-3 Glacier Tactical Island was implemented!

[Chapter7-3 implemented!]
With this update, Chapter7-3 has been implemented.
"Explore a glacial island that someone has created.
To cross the glacier, all you need is magic and tools, not the heat of the sun.
A mighty enemy awaits you in heaven."


We are anxious to get some legacies as we are in the final stages of parameter-related adjustments, but other than that, we feel that this is the most definitive completion so far, surpassing Dawn, which took us a year just for a single stage.
(This stage took about 80 days to complete.)

You don't need many pieces of sunstone to complete this stage.
Instead, it requires more technique than any other stage I have played so far.
Also, if you want to challenge Mystic Gate, you will need to learn solar legacy and powerful magic.

......The staff has hardly slept for the past few days, and I don't feel like writing anymore, but I think this stage is even more fun than Flip, which has been extremely popular so far, and is a masterpiece of quality.
If you are confident in your skills, please give it a try.
(Even if you are not confident, you can easily get the Nexus Medal.)



[About the new work form]
In Chapter7-3, we changed the work format a little and changed it to something like "maintain a work level of about the middle of the intensive work period.
Although cramming is efficient, it tended to leave important parts of the work to be revised at the end of the project.
So, I tried to keep the work level and stamina of the middle stage, and I think I was able to produce a very high quality stage, although it took a lot of time.

However, the work time really increased and it now takes 1.5 to 2.0 times longer than usual, so I am not sure if I should continue or not.

We have been working on Chapter 7-3 in this form, and it has been a masterpiece, at least for us.
However, we don't know how much the improvement in quality will contribute to the game itself.

Therefore, we are going to introduce this long-term work method in Chapter7-3 and Chapter7-4 as a trial and see what players think of them.
If the evaluation of these two released works is 30-50% higher than the evaluation of the previous stages, we will maintain this work system, and if we judge that the evaluation is less than 20% higher, we will return to the original work system.

We don't even remember what we've been doing recently other than developing Chapter7-3, but for now we plan to do a bug fix and feedback update around early September.
We are already making some progress on Chapter7-4 and hope to have an update by the end of September at ......, but given what has happened, it is more likely to be around mid-October.

Quick fix-bug fixes

Fixed a bug in "Summon the winter" that allowed the status to be raised infinitely.
(This is the first update since the Windows Update on the programmer's PC, so it may not work properly.)

Other minor corrections were made.
(We forgot what exactly was done)

Quick fix - Autosave

Fixed an issue where data could not be loaded from the autosave field.
Also, when moving around the map, the "!!!!!" message when moving around the map.
(We forgot to deactivate the debug flag)

Flip balancing and QoL improvements


The following adjustments have been made to Flip tactical Land.
★Changed the Overscore from 1,000,000 to 1,250,000.
Violet clown's EXP was changed to 40,000.
(The Overscore adjustment is only for the future and will not be applied retroactively to the data.
★Sunstone pieces will not be reduced unless the highscore is updated)
★Placement of new magic exclusively (can only be obtained when MysticGate is activated).

Mousing over an enemy icon with the space key pressed will now highlight the location of that enemy on the map.

A new setting "Fast Orb Activation" has been added to the configurations.

Memo icons are now slightly easier to see when placing notes on the map.

A test version of the save data compression feature has been implemented.
After the update, a very long loading will take place when the game is launched for the first time.
(Until now, save data was very heavy, and players who played for thousands of hours often consumed dozens of gigabytes of space with save data alone.
We are not sure if the compression will be done properly, so we will do this with backup data, and then delete the old data after about a month.)

Fixed a game crash that occurred when scrolling through the level log at levels 141 and above.

Added "1920x1512" to the resolution selection at the start of the game.

Fixed a placement error in the Nexus room of the Pop tactical lord.

In stages that do not use the Max-HP system, Max-HP has been changed to Highest HP.

The Oath tactical lord's Thief location is now highlighted.

The coloring of "All medals" was not correct.

Quick fix - dojo + memo

Fixed a bug with the anchor hook icon in Hitofude dojo.
Fixed a bug in the order of numbers in the memo icon.
