PATCH NOTES - Deadhaus Sonata Combat Demo: Blood Bath

  • Channeling Exsanguinate now uses the same targeting mechanics as Quick Casting.
  • New animations for Quick Casting and Channeling Telekinesis.
  • Added additional effects to the Spectral State in preparation for lore integration.



Performance
  • Refactored how animations are being handled for characters.
  • Made changes to how the cursor lock is handled in the UI and between levels.
  • Better organize what information persists between levels.
  • Additional support for character movement between levels.



Character Control
  • The Vampire's movement is now much more responsive!
  • There are no more delays on startup movement from idle or pivots.
  • The direction of an attack can be changed after input.



Mist Form
  • Mist Form's Quick Cast no longer hitches on startup or finish.
  • Collisions with enemies have been removed from Mist Form.
  • The vampire can change directions during Mist Form Quick Cast.
  • Mist Form Quick Cast distance increased.
  • Mist Form Quick Cast cooldown decreased.


Bugfixes
  • Fixed an issue where Bloodlust Chant stopped with no fade-out. (Reported by Varik Keldun)
  • Fixed an issue which prevented interacting with the back button during video playback when using a controller. (Reported by Varik Keldun)
  • Fixed an issue where Telekinesis and Exsanguinate would get stuck if the input key was released at the end of the startup animation.
  • Fixed an issue where Telekinesis would get stuck if you lost all mana during the channeling animation (Reported by Temuldjin).
  • Fixed an issue where screen blood splatter and blood vignette on low life were not appearing.
  • Fixed an issue where reaching zero mana would stop mana regeneration under some circumstances (Reported by Elveone).
  • Fixed an issue where holding the Telekinesis key when Telekinesis ends will re-cast Telekinesis.
  • Fixed an issue with the camera passing through the environment.
  • Fixed an issue where the sword would detach from the Vampire's hand.
