Patch 6.3 now available as an opt-in Beta

[p]Hey folks,[/p][p][/p][p]Patch 6.3 is now available as an opt-in Beta! As detailed yesterday, due to some unforeseen compatibility issues with some AMD hardware that can cause crashes, we've delayed the full release of the Patch until next week to get these resolved.[/p][p][/p][p]We wanted to still give you the chance to get your hands on the update today via this Beta, but please be aware that if you have an AMD GPU and choose to opt-in, that you may experience infrequent crashes, but rest assured that our teams are already on the case.[/p][p][/p][p]You can find full instructions on how to opt-in to the Beta further down this post.[/p][p][/p][p]For the full details on what's included in Patch 6.3, check out our Dev Blog and Release Notes at the links below.[/p][p][/p][p]6.3 DEV BLOG[/p][p]RELEASE NOTES[/p][p][/p][p]Apologies for the last minute shift in plans and the confusion around this release - we'll be back next week with further info on the full Patch launch.[/p][p][/p][p]Thanks all![/p][p][/p][p]— The Total War Team[/p][p][/p][hr][/hr][p][/p][h2]How to download the Beta branch[/h2][p][/p]
  1. [p]Open your Steam client and go to your Library.[/p]
  2. [p]Right-click on Total War: WARHAMMER III and select 'Properties'.[/p]
  3. [p]Navigate to the 'Betas' tab.[/p]
  4. [p]In the drop-down menu, select 'proving_grounds - Siege Beta'.[/p]
  5. [p]Steam will then download the necessary files and begin the patching process to install the Beta.[/p]
[p][/p][p]Steam will need to download around 2.1 GB of game data in order to install. Please be aware that the patching process can take some time depending on your hard drive speeds.

Total War Warhammer 3 patch 6.3 is great news for Tomb Kings and Lizardmen

Total War Warhammer 3 patch 6.3 is upon us, and it's bringing some very welcome changes to a couple of underloved factions in the colossal strategy game. The Tomb Kings and Lizardmen are at the top of the list, with the latter even receiving a fresh cohort of blessed units, but there's more to be found elsewhere. Developer Creative Assembly has also overhauled its starting traits, introduced a new crop of unusual locations, and grimed up its battles with a little more blood.

[p][/p][p][/p][p]Hey folks,[/p][p][/p][p]We’re expecting to publish the full release notes for Patch 6.3 this Friday, followed by the Update itself next week, but if you can’t wait that long join us tomorrow on Rally Point where we’ll be playing and discussing Patch 6.3 live on stream. Total War Warhammer 3 opens new siege beta, but you need to join quickly

We've likely got a bit of a wait for Total War Warhammer 3's Tides of Torment DLC after Creative Assembly delayed it earlier this year, but there is a silver lining. A new siege rework beta is now open, letting you test out some changes and offer CA a little feedback. But you better be quick if you want to take part, as the beta is open for a limited time only.

Proving Grounds: Siege Beta NOW LIVE

This is your chance to get hands-on with the changes, share your feedback with us and help shape the future of siege warfare.[/p][p][/p][p]This Beta phase will be available until Thursday 7th August and is open to all owners of Total War: WARHAMMER III.
