Pre-load begins next Tuesday, February 15th!

To ensure you're ready to play on day one, we're excited to announce that anyone who has pre-purchased the game will be able to pre-download it starting February 15th on Steam, the Microsoft Store, and Game Pass.

[h2]Steam Pre-Installation Instructions[/h2]

 Open your Steam client.
 Find Total War: WARHAMMER III in your library.
 Click the INSTALL button.

Steam will begin the pre-load the game, which you can follow in the ‘DOWNLOADS’ area.
If you encounter any problems starting the download, try fully exiting and restarting Steam to see if that helps. If you unable to begin the download after several hours, please contact Steam support for assistance.

[h2]Total War: WARHAMMER III File Size[/h2]
The approximate installation size is ~120 GB, so we recommend starting early. Please also make sure there is enough space available on your drive to install the game. There will also be at least one more patch prior to playing, so you'll want to have a majority of the files ready-to-go if you want to play on day one!

Join us for the CHAOS CLASH Tournament Finals this Weekend!

It’s nearly time! With the arrival of Total War: WARHAMMER III to the big stage of battle in less than a week, the search for the greatest champions and commanders of the game has begun!

With Turin and ItalianSparticus overseeing the competition, fifty of the strongest WARHAMMMER III players joined the preliminary stages of the CHAOS CLASH tournament to vie for supremacy. Now, this coming Saturday, February 12th, our final 10 champions will battle it out in the game’s Domination Mode to see who emerges as the victor.

Ind, Nippon, and Khuresh are "probably never" coming to Total War: Warhammer 3

Don't get your hopes up over the nations of Ind, Nippon, and Khuresh ever coming to Total War: Warhammer 3 at any point in the future. While Creative Assembly principal writer Andy Hall says the team are "never going to say never", he admits that "it's not happening anytime soon". In fact, "probably never".

Hall has been doing the media rounds to talk about the upcoming Total War: Warhammer 3, during which he had a chat with YouTuber Italian Spartacus. As their chat draws to a close, the topic of these three mostly unexplored Warhammer nations arises.

"We're never going to say never because there should always be the opportunity to bring these new races in or new nations, but you know I've seen the roadmap, and these nations aren't on there now," Hall explains. "There are no plans to do them in the immediate or even long-term future. We've still got so much to do with Cathay. Honestly, the stuff I've seen it'll curl your toes in the best possible way. [...] People are kind of desperately hanging on for one of these other nations. [...] Don't lose any sleep; it's not happening anytime soon. Probably never, I'm afraid. Cathay was a brilliant coup for us. Doesn't mean it's going to be repeated."

Creative Assembly show off online play for Total War: WARHAMMER III

Total War: WARHAMMER III is due for release on February 17, with a Linux port from Feral Interactive due sometime soon after and we now have the first footage of online play.
