Galactic advice in touch!
Over the past month, we have been actively developing the project and preparing for the release. Unfortunately, as some have already learned, we postponed the release date to April. All this is due to the fact that we do not want to release a raw product into the release. Instead, we carefully test all the mechanics, refine what has already been done, introduce what is planned. Sometimes, on the go, we come up with new ideas.
What have we done lately?
- Fully working main types of equipment have been introduced: Shields, weapons, engines, radars, mechanics of additional modules.
- Introduced several types of each equipment: weak and more powerful engines, shields, radars, weapons.
- Introduced 3 primary resources that can be mined in outer space;
- Several production chains have been developed, each of which ultimately gives the final product in the form of some kind of equipment. Thus, there are at least four main lines of resources, which are produced alternately from primary to more expensive resources, and then to equipment.
- The Decider ship model has been introduced, work is underway on the introduction of the remaining ships that have not yet been imported into the project, but have long been created as a 3D model (yes, introducing each ship is a laborious process).
- Introduced the mechanics of synchronization of installed equipment on the ship: you can see each weapon, and even some equipment on the hull of your ship! Replaced the gun - not only the color of the projectile will change, but also the model of the barrel. Also, all guns have animation when fired.
- Introduced, but not yet perfected, the mechanics of highways inside the sector. This is an alternative to quickly moving around the sector.
- The network part of the game is being tested, bugs are detected and immediately fixed. They are also not few, but we are working :)
We really want to launch the closed alpha test of the game in February! And before that, we need to fulfill some more very important points on development.
