Update "2025" is out! Wanna add a bit of cyberpunk?
Happy New Year! Wishing you all the best!

Initially, the update was going to be called something like "About Travel", but it turned into such a mix that we couldn't come up with a proper name! So it's simply - 2025!

What's new? Just check out the video teaser :)

p.p.s.: Briefly, here are the main changes:
- A bunch of ships have been added/reworked.
- WARP engines and fuel have been added, along with their projects (they will soon be available for sale in the business center).
- The galactic map has been revamped, with various interactives added.
- You can now sell your ship on the secondary market; a more convenient menu for transfers has also been added.
- Ship capturing mechanics have been introduced, but I won't say what to do to capture one.
- A news feed and radio broadcast have been added: a neural network generates text about events happening with players (with you!), the game generates a screenshot of the event, and speech synthesis generates voice-over for radio hosts, who broadcast under cool music by Antonio! (By the way, the teaser features his music, and the entire New Year's podium is thanks to him!)
- Significant graphics optimization – video cards should now overheat less.
- Various SFX and VFX have been redone from scratch, including explosions, lots of voice-overs, etc.! If you've been following the news, there's no need to explain.
- Updated UI.
- Added a movie camera mode that can be activated quickly with Shift + F11.
- Naturally, New Year's decorations and various fun items have been added.

Mini-update

- Added the ability to rotate the camera in 3rd person mode while controlling the ship. This makes it possible to fully control shooting from turrets
- Accelerators now only consume generator energy (previously they had their own “energy”)
- Added customization of engine effects - you can set different colors (you can find them in the game store)
- The equipment menu has been improved, now there are 3 tabs: equipment, style, cockpit
- Improved camera behavior in 1st and 3rd person, fixed some bugs with the camera
- Fixed problems with sound loss in battle
- Improved voice acting for shots and explosions

p.s.: yes, not all critical bugs have been fixed since the latest update, but we will catch up! :)

And next in line is an update about travel. Reworking the map and adding warp jumps!

Update

Captain of the third rank Reimark is in touch! Straight to the point: recently, intelligence has been reporting colossal activity of a pirate group near safe sectors. The top leadership of the Galactic Council consulted and put forward an ultimatum: it is necessary to coordinate many massive attacks on fortified enemy outposts and repel these scoundrels. They must know their place.

In connection with this news, each of you is required to download special software and update the firmware of all on-board systems.

List of apologies and innovations:
- Added a new type of GLOBAL EVENT: Attack on a pirate station
- Improved station destruction system: new effects, voice acting and all that.
- Added an interface for attacking a station: now you can better see which modules are destroyed and which remain.
- Improved algorithm for the appearance of pirate waves during a station attack
- The pirate station is restored if it is not finished off
- Turrets at the pirate station are now regenerated directly during the battle - you'll have to work a little harder
- Battle music is now tied to hostile stations
- Added drop of spare parts from pirate station modules
- Various code optimizations and more were carried out
- Added mechanics for generating a picture of a global event
- Improved ship hull damage effects and painting function
- Protect insurance is no longer available for purchase. Only Cover insurance remains (saves the ship and installed equipment, but does not save the contents of the hold).
- Fixed bugs with loot in pirate caches
- The model of the pirate cruiser "Typhoon" has been updated, now it has 10 turrets on board
- Replaced radar models

As for repairs and spare parts, we read your reviews and understand that the system requires improvements!👁
Here's what we'll do about this situation in the next patch:
✅Spare parts of varying rarity will most likely drop from NPCs
✅From cheaper spare parts you can assemble more expensive ones (for example, from 10 scrap metal - 1 wiring, etc.).
