The Road to Bum-bo ep.4

The Nickel Grinder is the main track for a little casino hub in the legend of Bum-bo called The Wooden Nickel ( by Ridiculon ). Bum-bo will enter this hub each time he defeats a boss and can use its NPCs to upgrade his stats, items and trinkets.
There are 3 parts to the Wooden Nickel, Bum-bet ( the stat wheel girl ), Rot-rat ( the skull game guy ) and Jude ( the prick pusher ).
Stat Wheel:
each character in Bum-bo has a custom stat wheel with probabilities that complement their build. paying 15 cents and spinning the wheel will grant a permanent stat boost for the rest of the game. the possible wheel options are as follows:
Heart ( raises hp by 1 heart + full heal )
Fist ( raises spell damage you deal by 1 )
Puzzle ( raises the damage your puzzle attacks deal by 1 )
Foot ( gives you +1 movement point )
Clover ( raises your critical hit chances and yields bonus coins )
Coin ( gives you 20 coins and lets you spin again )
Skull Game:
we are still tweaking the skull game guy, but currently best case he can yield trinkets exclusive to the skull game that make enemies easier. he can also pay out in soul hearts and bonus coins as well.
Prick Pusher:
the prick pusher has set of needles that mod your items in many different ways, like raising damage, lowering mana cost, rerolling the spell/mana cost completely or even copying an existing spell with a new mana cost. Jude also sells hearts... youll need these.
next week im planning on doing a full video playthrough of ch1! so get ready to be spoiled! i'll start detailing out characters and their abilities as well!
