DevLog #1 “Silly Things”

We chose this short video snippet for this dev Log to bring attention to what we believe is an interesting aspect of Gas Station Simulator: the silly stuff.

Running your gas station at some point also involves hiring employees. In most cases, you get what you pay for, but there are exceptions here and there. You will have to check on your staff every now and then, as some might neglect their duties, others might try to steal from you and some might just do stupid things.
Like you walk in one day and see your employee stacking cups or cans on the counter or building dominos out of the boxes on the shelf.

We will implement many of these situations just to light things up a bit. It is also part of something more serious, namely our effort to differentiate employee beyond looks or stats. We want them to have distinct personalities like you would expect in real-life. This is something important to us as you won’t hire many employees and those few you decide on should feature distinct personalities.
