[/p][p]We’re happy to announce that JDM: Japanese Drift Master has been selected for the Indie Assembly initiative this year. 123 games in total have been picked to participate, so you’ll find a lot of neat titles to look through and potentially buy or wishlist (please do support independent game developers!).[/p][p][/p][p]The 123 Stars event will run from Monday, September 1 at 7:00 PM CET / 10:00 AM PST until Sunday, September 7 at the same time. [/p][p][/p][p]For those wishing to involve themselves a little bit more, a shortlist of hand selected 20 titles will battle it out for the Brightest Star recognition. [p]We’re happy to announce that JDM: Japanese Drift Master is part of the “Celebrating 10 years of Polish games at PAX” event on Steam. The showcase starts August 29th and ends September 1st. [/p][p][/p][p]Although we’re not directly on the showfloor of PAX West this year, we always have our fingers crossed for our fellow countrymen flying overseas to showcase their indie gems. If you’re looking to grab a new game to close out Summer or wishlist an upcoming title, you’ll definitely find something worth your while from the selected games. As in, something else as a bonus to JDM, which if you don’t own yet is a grave mistake that needs immediate fixing! :)[/p][p][/p][p]It’s also a perfect opportunity for us to make a shout-out to the Indie Games Polska foundation for a decade of supporting Polish development and helping us promote our games abroad. [p] [/p][p]This week’s patch notes are primarily focused on some gameplay improvements based on your feedback coming from after the recent physics update. There are some highly anticipated grip improvements for driving during the rain, as well as additional overall grip balancing on different surfaces and for different weather conditions. We’ve also made a follow up to the gravity changes made in 1.6.0 with some beefy improvements to car collisions. [/p][p]As we’re gearing up for our next major update, where you will see more improvements and new features, we’re committed to working alongside our community to further polish the JDM experience. • [p]Made overall collision improvements across the whole game. The collisions should now feel more impactful and the cars should feel as they have more weight to them.

• [p]Fixed Subaru Impreza WRX STI’s hood collisions - destructible objects should no longer get stuck in the car’s hood.

• [p]Balanced the Handbrake and Clutch behaviour for AWD cars in the game.
  [/p]
• [p]Improved how the Handbrake and the Leg Brake behave and react when pushed simultaneously.
  [/p]
• [p]Improved the car grip on wet surfaces on all types of available roads in game (including grass).

• [p]Improved the car grip on dry gravel and grass surfaces.
