We are very excited to announce that we are attending BitSummit 2024 in Japan, one of the most exciting indie game festivals in the world! Together with our partners from 4Divinity, we brought JDM: Japanese Drift Master to the vibrant and energetic gaming community in Kyoto. The BitSummit event has presented new and interesting titles for over 10 years, so we are very happy to be part of it. The event will occur from August 19-21.


At our booth, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of JDM, experience a special event build of the game, and take a ride in the open world before the game's release. We have also prepared contests where you can win unique t-shirts with the JDM: Rise of the Scoropion theme. We invite you to visit us at our booth located on the 3rd floor in sector A-06.

We have important information regarding the upcoming release of JDM: Rise of the Scorpion. After much consideration, we decided to postpone the launch. An extra few weeks will ensure that you receive the best possible experience on launch day.

JDM: Rise of the Scorpion is filled with features and content that we didn’t even think were possible when we released the demo version. Thanks to your feedback and support, we created an even bigger and faster world in the game! We want to take the necessary time to polish these additions and ensure everything runs smoothly. We’re confident that the final product will be worth the wait.

As you can see in the material above, JDM: Rise of the Scorpion has exciting new features. We hope you enjoyed the gameplay we’ve shown and are even more excited to try out the upcoming prologue.

New features include the smartphone system. This part of the UI will be with you every step of the way. Customize the wallpaper, browse through messages from NPCs, follow the quest log, and check your scores in leaderboards. The smartphone gives you access to changing car settings, like ABS assistants, gearboxes, or Electronic Stability Program (ESP).

In addition, we prepared the new trailer filled to the brim with races, events, and cars from JDM: Rise of the Scorpion. This video will let you feel how vibrant and alive the upcoming prologue will be:

As you can see in the video above, new events await you! Test your skills in:

• Drift Race - get as many points as you can drifting through challenging turns and corners,
  
• Drift Battle - chase and be chased, see what distance you can put between two cars,
  
• Grip Race - speed up and be the first to cross the finish line.

We are faster and more precise than ever! In JDM: Rise of the Scorpion, everyone will take a chance to become the best drifter in the area. Get ready for an amazing experience in which realistic physics and environment merge with an epic story told in the form of manga panels.

The story of JDM: Japanese Drift Master takes place in a fictional Japanese prefecture - Guntama. This area is inspired by the mountainous region of Honshu. Players familiar with Japan's famous drifting routes will find many resemblances to the real world.

We finally bring you a report from an amazing event - Pyrkon! This was the first, but certainly not the last event where we had the pleasure of presenting our game, JDM: Japanese Drift Master live. We encourage you to check out our vlog of the three days of Pyrkon, to see how much fun we had and everything that happened.

The main attraction of our zone was the tent, where stands with computers awaited you for you to test your skills on specially prepared tracks. The competition was fierce until the last minute, and some of you returned on other days to beat your records. During the event, you could take part in two competitions. We prepared two special events: Grip and Drift, the winners of which were rewarded with packages that included:

• JDM T-Shirt,
  
• JDM key lanyard,
  
• an early access to the prologue of JDM: Rise of the Scorpion,
  
• JDM stickers.
  

During Pyrkon, we had the opportunity to work with the Jeremiah Kane band, one of the creators of the music for our game. Our stand featured drift cars, including a very special one wrapped with the character from our prologue - Ayumi. The pink car with #LetsDrift stickers and the Japanese Drift Master logo became quite the attraction, drawing crowds of visitors eager to take photos with it.


At the event, we also attended the Game Days Show conference where our Event Manager had the opportunity to answer many questions from the community. We discussed the upcoming prologue, the manga-style storyline, in-game sounds, and the birth of the collaboration between JDM and the Jeremiah Kane team. The conference was hosted by Dominik Bos and Krzysztof M. Maj, who brought a lot of energy and professionalism to the event. If you weren't able to join us live, you can watch the entire conference on Krzysztof M. Maj's channel (2: 20: 05).


We would like to thank everyone who visited our stand. Your enthusiasm and positive responses were amazing! Some of you had heard of our game before, while others were discovering it for the first time but each of you brought something special with your feedback and good humor. Thanks to you, we know we are on the right track!


Special thanks to Diablo Chairs for providing comfortable chairs and desks, and to HIRO for providing the computers and monitors that allowed the game to run smoothly and effectively. Your support was invaluable!


This was our first event, but certainly not our last. We look forward to future opportunities to meet you in person, share our progress, and celebrate our passion for drifting and Japanese car culture together.
