Drift fans, it's been a while since the last devlog, but don't think we've been slacking off. Today, we want to invite you into a world of music that will make drifting through the winding streets of a Japanese town even more fun and add to the atmosphere of our game.

Here are the artists whose songs you can listen to in Japanese Drift Master! You can find them on Spotify.

His versatility in music production has secured his collaborations with some of the biggest labels in the world: - Republic Records (UMG), AAR Music (Universal Italia), Casablanca Records; and brands such as SONY (Alpha cameras, Gran Turismo 7 VR), Rolls-Royce Motors, Land Rover, Mercedes-Benz, Tata Motors, US Marines, Fame MMA, NOOVO TV (CA), Star Channel TV (GR). In addition, the track ANNUAL BLØØD SPILLAGE was the first officially presented track from JDM - we included it in the teaser.
Ditro
Let’s Scan!

Ossu!

In our latest devlog, we are diving into the exciting world of creating cars for the Japanese Drift Master! The whole process will be explained by Przemek - an automotive enthusiast with a passion for old cars - who is in charge of scanning the cars and parts to be used in the game. Let's rev up the engines and embark on this amazing journey of creation!
Creation process
To get a good representation of the cars in the game, we rely on reverse engineering - aided by 3D scanning of real cars. First of all, we have to mat the chrome or find a base in the right condition. Once the digital data has been collected and pre-processed, we can create a detailed model. The final step is to visualize the car in the engine with the necessary animations. For example, we can lower the window to hear the sound of the engine.
Challenges
The biggest challenge in producing a car is the time it takes for a small team to create it - a 3D model and sounds are one thing - the car still needs to be driven to get it to behave properly. We base this on real suspension geometry, so cars drive differently after suspension tuning.
Knowledge and style
The people in our team are drift fans and actively participate in drifting events. We are in constant contact with professional drifters and the JDM scene - we listen to their comments because they are the most valuable. We try to keep most of the tuning content in the spirit of JDM, which is the most important thing for us, and some of the car modifications are very close to their track counterparts.

We hope you enjoyed today's devlog and we have provided you with some entertainment. Remember to add Japanese Drift Master to your wishlist on Steam and join us on Discord where you can ask us any questions you may have.
