Patch 0.4.3 - Outfitter's Emporium

The Emporium Cosmetics Shop is now open!
[h3]Visit Glimm at the Wenching Whale to preview and equip cosmetic armor, weapons, and gliders you've unlocked through purchases or in game discovery.
[/h3][h2]Cosmetics Available Now!
[/h2][h3]How to Unlock Cosmetics – Pick it up, unlock the look![/h3][p]- Any time you pick up new armor or weapons, its look is automatically added to your character's Cosmetics Library.[/p][p]- You can also unlock cosmetics by completing certain quests or achievements.

[/p][h3]How to Purchase Cosmetics – Visit the store in your Codex![/h3][p]- To purchase cosmetics, you must have gems which you can buy from the Meta or Steam Store.[/p][p]- Then use the Store tab in your Codex to purchase gems and exclusive cosmetics and bundles.[/p][p]- New items are added regularly check back often!
[/p][h3]How to Equip Cosmetics – Visit the Emporium[/h3][p]- Go to the 2nd floor of the Wenching Whale tavern in any hub town and look for the Emporium.[/p][p]- Choose the gear slot you want to modify or filter by, then point and click on a cosmetic to preview it.[/p][p]- Click Apply at the top of the screen to lock in your new look.
[/p][h3]How Cosmetics Work[/h3][p]- Applying a cosmetic changes the look of whatever item is equipped in that slot.[/p][p]- Cosmetics stay applied even if you change gear or log out.[/p][p]- To remove a cosmetic, return to the Emporium and click the cosmetic again or hit Clear button to clear all applied looks.

[/p][h3]Additional Notes[/h3][p]- You can preview all cosmetics, even ones you haven't unlocked yet.[/p][p]- Use the "Owned Items" checkbox to filter for cosmetics you own.[/p][p]- You can only apply cosmetics that are in your collection.[/p][p]- Purchased Cosmetics in Ilysia are account wide: once unlocked, they're available to all your characters![/p][p]- Found/Picked up cosmetics are character bound.

[h3]Gameplay & Features:[/h3]
- v1 of the Guild system has been added to Ilysia
- Players can now buy a Guild Writ from the Tidehaven guild master for 1g, and form a Guild in their Codex Guild tab
- Guild leaders can customize roles and permissions, and promote, kick, or manage members from the Guild tab in the Codex once formed
- Players with the appropriate permission can invite others to join their Guild by interacting with them
- Players can accept or decline guild invitations
- The XP and Looting rights system has been overhauled: Players/Parties now 'tag' mobs for XP/Drops when attacking
- If a mob has been 'tagged' by another player/group, it will have a yellow health bar
- XP is now split in parties between members based on the levels of the party members
- XP is no longer awarded to party members who do not participate in combat
- XP is no longer awarded to party members who are too far away
- Memory usage: the way characters are handled in memory has been changed
- Memory usage: The 'wisp' system has been tweaked for more efficient memory usage

- Entering an instance will no longer break party mechanics for looting and chat
- Quest items will now drop for party members regardless of other members' quest status
- Party (and now Guild) members will now show on the Waydar
- A toggle has been added to Comfort Settings to enable or disable the on screen Health HUD
- Player kinetics has been updated for smoother movement and rotation when walking, running, turning the head, and squatting
- Adding a Friend to your party from the friends list will no longer break the friends list UI
- Party members will properly show in Codex when in a party
- Weapons and equipment will no longer interact with other objects while holstered
- Stonebinder cloth gloves will no longer turn hands invisible
- Quarrystalker leather gloves now have the correct texture
- Entering water will now transition to swimming/diving more smoothly
- More critter class animals have been added to Lavea

[h3]Combat:[/h3]
- The core armor system has been overhauled: Armor Class and its effectiveness now scale correctly, with a damage reduction cap of 45%
- When using a shield, melee weapons will now generate additional threat
- Shields will now start fully charged when first equipped
- All shields now recharge 20% faster
- Shields will now correctly recharge while holstered

[h3]Quests[/h3]
- Quest markers should no longer appear in the middle of the ocean if they're in an instance
- The spatula and bowl requirement from the Toka Bell quest chain has been removed

[h3]Class Skills:[/h3]
- Shield bash has been changed to use a natural outward swing
- Shield bash now properly damages the target
- Shield bash now properly acts as a spell interrupt
- Shield bash now properly stuns the target
- Stun arrow now properly stuns the target

[h3]Mobs & Encounters:[/h3]
- Elite mobs have had their difficulty reduced

[h3]UI & Graphics:[/h3]
- The Codex's general UI elements have been reformatted for consistency
- Comfort Options now have their own page in the Codex
- Player shadows (PCVR) will now include the player head/helm
- The backpack zipper now scrolls the backpack horizontally

[h3]Guilds:[/h3]
- Guild Name character limits have been changed to 2-24 Chars
- Custom Guild Roles will now display properly for all guild members
- Guild Message will not display properly for all guild guild members
- Roles ranged permission to change Guild Message can now do so
- Guild names should no longer temporarily disappear when exiting the dungeon


[h3]PTR Known issues:[/h3]
- NEW guild members must relog to see updated roles and guild messages
- Shield Bash causes Sound FX issues on mobs when used
- The first slot in the backpack is in full goof mode, use with caution
- The glider has incorrect texture
- Entering the dungeon changes volume of Party chat
- The volume sliders in the Voip codex UI do not work correctly
- Mic volume slider is sensitive
