Patch Notes 21.07.2020
Hey everyone!
In today's update a lot of stuff has been implemented and changed.
Especiallythe equipment system has been completely overhauled and
a lot of new equipment has been added to the game.
Even a new type of monsters has been added along with special
equipment and artes you can only get by defeating those foes.
--- Content ---
1. ---> Added a new group of enemies, called "Fierce Monsters", to the game. Those are very strong and dangerous foes. They will appear once you've slain a certain number of certain normal monsters (such like the Flaming Willowisps in the Burning Cave) and yield a lot more EXP and "D" than normal monsters. Additionally, they also can drop unique equipment you wouldn't get anywhere else in the game. Each set of equipment has special states they can apply to your group or to an enemy that resembles the "Fierce Monster" you've obtained it from. You can even obtain new artes from those monsters!
--- Character ---
1. ---> Added a new character called "Bresk" to the game. Bresk can be obtained through a special quest chain that you have to complete once you trigger him to appear. He is using a recently implemented weapon type and has been assigned a newly created class.
--- Enemies---
1. ---> Overhauled the drop pool for most enemies due to the implementation of new armor types, weapon types and materials.
--- Balancing---
1. ---> Added an active level scaling to most enemies. Means, if your characters grow stronger in level, the enemies will do the same and increase their own stats up to a certain max amount. But since those monsters will pose an even greater threat for your group while leveling up, they also yield more EXP and Daranen - or short "D" - for every level up they gain.
2. ---> Added a difficulty slider to the settings in the game menu. With that you can adjust the power of the enemies you'll encounter. The setting levels are : 100% (default), 200% (hard), 300% (extreme) and 400% (deadly). The percentages determine the growth in stats of enemies encountered by exactly 100% per setting level. So if you want to step up your game, then now you can do so! Also, the setting level can be adjusted as you see fit without limitations. Meaning, you won't be locked in the harder difficulty if you decide to try it out.
---> Take note that I will observe those changes and re-balance them if necessary.
--- Artes---
1. ---> Added a new category of arte books, called "Fierce Artes", to the game. These artes can be obtained by defeating certain fierce monsters. They are powerful and are resembling special attributes of the fierce monster they were obtained from.
2. ---> Added a new arte for Fyrea to the game : "(Fierce) : Demonic Flame".
--- Armor---
1. ---> Added new armor categories to the database : "Dragonic Armor", "Dragonic Gloves", "Dragon Scale Armor", "Dragon Scale Gloves", "Heavy Armor", "Heavy Gloves"
2. ---> Overhauled most of the existing armor types such as : "Leather Armor", "Leather Gloves", "Magical Armor", "Magical Gloves", "Shields" ; all previously existing items of these categories have been replaced and improved. Also the total amount of these items have increased, meaning there are now much more different items of a specific armor type available through buying in a shop and crafting.
3. ---> Changed the stats of "Ysenta's Gloves" : Physical Attack 9 -> 19 (These change was made due to the overhaul of the equipment system and to keep those gloves special.)
4. ---> Changed the stats of "Bloodstained Gloves" : Physical Attack 20 -> 30, Magical Attack 15 -> 25 (These changes were made due to the overhaul of the equipment system and to keep those gloves special.)
5. ---> Increased the defensive stats of "Fyrea's Armor" at all levels in order to keep up to the recent changes in the equipment system and the enemies.
6. ---> Added some new armors to the game : "Fierce Chimera's Scaled Gloves", "Fierce Chimera's Leather Gloves", "Fierce Runic Demon's Ring", "Fierce Stone Golem's Necklace".
--- Weapon---
1. ---> Added a new weapon categorie to the game : "Spear"
2. ---> Overhauled the weapon category "Magical Wand" : Replaced nearly every available weapon of that category and increased its total amount.
3. ---> Increased the stats of Fyrea's guardian daggers "Flaren" and "Feyruen" in order to keep up with the equipment overhaul and keep them special.
4. ---> Added some new weapons to the game : "Fierce Chimera's Tooth", "Fierce Demon's Spear", "Fierce Golem's Bow".
--- Items---
1. ---> Added a whole bunch of new materials to the game.
2. ---> Overhauled the collectable materials all over the world map. Far more materials are now waiting to be collected and to be crafted into powerful equipment!
3. ---> Added a new arte book to the game : "(Fierce) : Demonic Flame".
--- General---
1. ---> Added a color code to every item, weapon and armor. This color code will help you determine whether this item is something special or not : Yellow -> Common item. Green -> Uncommon item (mostly crafted). Blue -> Special item (mostly dropped). Orange -> Very rare item (mostly dropped). Red -> Epic item (mostly dropped/crafted). Purple -> Legendary item.
2. ---> Added the possibillity to equip multiple armor types for specific characters : Aaron & Alissa ; added the new armor type "Dragonic Gloves", "Dragonic Armor" to the allowed equipment pool. Fyrea : added the new armor type "Dragon Scale Gloves" to the allowed equipment pool.
