Info about new updates

Hey gamers!

The last update was a long time ago, but the work didn't stop! We thought we would summarize what contents are under development.


[h2]Stability[/h2]
The latest update to PocketCars (v0.67) included many bug fixes and engine improvements. According to the analytics, there was a large reduction in errors and crashes. We thought this was a good basis to work on bigger improvements.


[h2]Customization[/h2]
One of the biggest feature comes soon. You can customize colors and materials of body, rims, springs, and antenna. Of course, stickers can also be added. The selection may expand later.

... and an important question for you:
The Steamworks give an opportunity to share custom content between players. We can expand the game's skin editor with online skin sharing option.

[h2]New maps[/h2]
Two maps are under development. The "Museum" map will be a multi-level building with mostly flat surfaces and the game's first indoor environment. Contra with that, the "Ruins" will be a really off-road and rocky seaside.

[h2]Multiplayer[/h2]
Many have written that multiplayer is very much needed, so we bring it forward. We have already started the first tests. Our public Discord channel will also be launched soon.

Update [v0.64]

[h2]Stunt Arena[/h2]
New game mode is available! To achieve scores you need to do tricks (or collect stars) in the Stunt Arena.
Of course, you can play split screen with your friends. Show how good you are! You can also use new weapons what fit this new style.

Now new season is started, and later we plan to expand it.

[h2]Simulator mode[/h2]
It's an arcade game but...
you can customize the car control assistants in the general options menu.
- Try yourself without any help!

Otherhand we increase physics simulation precision and rework car colliders. It means smoother movements, fewer car stuck. We hope to improve the gaming experience.
