Beta Patch Notes 0.1.0.11

Added:
  • Added Morin Khur as a starting location.

Fixes:
  • Charge attacks can now be released before reaching the end of the charge animation.
  • Fixed bug where death and resurrect sequences would not play camera animation.
  • Fixed issues with time sync .
  • Moving AI should now more correctly follow the ground instead of hovering.
  • Nation Standings now change correctly depending on your race.
  • Nation Standings min max is now correctly calculated.
  • Nation Standing names update to better reflect the current standing .
  • Fixed a rare chat crash .
  • Fixed rare server crash .
  • Fixed issue where server could desync the time and cause major issues for all AI.
  • Fixed issue with AI seeing dead players .

Known issues:
  • Logging in when dead will display equipment on self.
  • Logging in while dead and resurrecting will cause sounds to not play. (Relog once again to fix.)
  • Some static NPC’s float slightly above the ground.
  • Guards and bandits do not always enter mercy mode correctly.
  • Ai has some pathing issues being worked on. (Not always taking the shortest straight path)

Beta Patch Notes 0.1.0.4

Added:

  • Added standings system.

Changes:

  • Refining now calculates time better.
  • You can no longer use skills in mercy mode.
  • Clade gift shields now change their look depending on your clade.
  • You now get a murder count when murdering someone and you will lose standing with the nation your victim resurrects at.
  • Buff and debuff icons are now larger.
  • Polished most UI interaction to have right clicking on items override the first slot when all slots are full.
  • Stars now rotates.
  • New player movement backend added for both optimization and better control during development.

  • FOV no longer gets messed up if multiple sequences are triggered at the same time. (resurrect, teleport, etc)

  • Other players no longer vibrates when looking sideways while standing still.
  • Other players no longer gets stuck in slow motion running when walking.
  • Torch embers are no longer active after un-equipping a torch.
  • Torch lights and particles no longer stays in the world when player disconnects.
  • Character in login screen now updates to reflect nudity setting after being changed by the user in the main menu.
  • Player no longer launches like a rocket on spawn if they try to jump multiple times during the loading screen.
  • Blainn fur no longer detaches randomly when dying or resurrecting.
  • Updated LODs on bows because they broke the string.
  • Fixed an issue where equip hits would slowdown the recovery of a swing.
  • Fixed an issue where switching from bow to unarmed would increase the stamina drain for unarmed.
  • Fixed an issue where arrows did not make an impact sound for other players.


Known Issues:

  • Initial crash on first login still present.
  • Character movement might hitch when jumping and landing.
  • There's a slight hitch when a character initially rotates. (visible on NPCs)
  • The game can still get stuck as a process when shutting down. Close it in the task manager if it does.
  • Texture issues when using DirectX 11.

Beta Patch Notes 0.1.0.0

Added:

  • Added LOD's to capes and banners.
  • Added dynamic detail scalability to characters and creatures. Body physics, cloth simulation, shadows, motion blur, fur and some animation details are now turned down or off based on distance.
  • Added contact shadows to characters when they are nearby.
  • New emotes. Type `/emote` in local chat.
  • You can now gather Rye, Water, Common Reedmace and Malus Fruit.

  • Players no longer spawn before they have finished loading the world on their end. They now appear just as the loading screen fades out.
  • Client will no longer time out during a long loading sequence. Login happens after loading the world.
  • Chat command /time now displays the correct time of day. (it was off by half an hour or so)
  • Players now enter the game looking in the same direction as when they left.
  • Players now appear properly in combat mode after being loaded.
  • Dead players that are moving around in ether world no longer drip visible blood on the ground.
  • Game no longer crashes on exit. It should also not get stuck as a background process any longer.

  • Archery is still work in progress.

  • Fixed issue where character ears would stick out through helmet after resurrect.
  • Fixed issue where character proportions would change after resurrect.
  • Fixed issue where character would not stand on ground after resurrect.
  • Fixed issue where breast physics would stop after resurrect.

Combat Alpha Patch Notes 0.0.0.90

Added:

  • Bandages now work as in MO1 with a 10 sec timer before the HP is updated and 20 sec cool down.
  • Rebuilt parts of the skill window, it should now work a lot better.
  • You can now right click on skills anywhere to trigger them.
  • You now leave combat mode when resting.
  • Changed perfect block calculation methods to a more exact calculation on the server.
  • Updated clade gift animation.
  • Update all races glade gifts to their new update game design. Note that very few of these still work and their icons and most names are just placeholder.
  • Clade gifts can now give skill level bonuses, if a skill gets bonus from a clade gift this can be seen in the skill window.
  • Forcing players out of combat mode can now force the player into combat again after the action has been performed. For example using a bandage now force the player out of combat mode then does the bandage animation and force the player into combat again once it's completed.
  • Removed stack size from crafting windows to avoid confusion since crafting takes materials from all stacks in your inventory.
  • Update a whole lot of tool tips.
  • Change the look of the clade UI to make it easier to read what state each clade gift is in.
  • All loading and charge circles now goes from (like a clock) 12-12 instead of 09-09
  • Slightly increased the server sided arch for perfect blocks.

  • Combat attacks are now synchronized between players (tolerable up to 400 ms latency)
