Demo Update & Halloween Special

Big Demo Update 1.22
[p]It's been a while since the last demo update, and I finally took the time to make a new build including the latest features and improvements of the game. This include, but not limited to:[/p]- [p]New lighting and shadows. Finally play the game in its best looking shape. Do you like the new lighting and soft shadows ? Give me your feedback ![/p]
- [p]A new puzzle to solve in the tombs, to help you wait the release. Will you solve it ? Will you share the sinners fate ?[/p]
- [p]Re-balanced combats & stamina. After a too easy and then a way too hard versions, what do you think, are we finally in the good spot ?[/p]
- [p]A lot of visual improvements, including new wall textures.[/p]
- [p]Completely reworked save system & profile system, more robust, faster, no more lag when saving![/p]
- [p]A lot of under the hook things, bug fixes, changes, including more graphics & difficulty settings.[/p]
Halloween Special is Back!
[p]It's that time of the year again, the Halloween Special demo is back for a limited time! If you want to play or replay the demo with an Halloween theme, including a dangerous Pumpkin-Mototovs weapon, start a new game and enable the Halloween special mode.[/p][p] Preview of the current work - Maps!
[p]I will detail this more in the next devlog, but the pickable map system is now fully implemented and really cool. You will find several maps or various types, for instance navigate the sewers with hand draw maps of past looters, or use an handy evacuation plans to look for paths and ... secrets rooms ?[/p][p][/p][p]Preview of the current work - Kick to Ragdoll
[p]To make combats a bit more physics-fun, I finally implemented a "kick to ragdoll" feature, i.e. the monster switching to a "ragdoll" state when it receives a too strong physics impact, for instance from a footkick. It's pretty handy to keep those vicious "running zombies" out of reach.[/p][p]Happy Halloween :)
