An Update from the Anti Cheat Team - 02/25/2026
[p]Valkyrie “Wallhack” Exploit
We recently resolved an exploit involving Valkyrie’s Ultimate ability that allowed players to improperly retain enemy highlight information outside of its intended activation window. Under specific conditions involving map vehicles, the interaction could place the ability into an unintended state, granting persistent visibility benefits to the player and their squad.
[/p][p]Once identified, our team reproduced the issue, isolated the underlying state-handling error, and deployed a fix to prevent the interaction from occurring. The exploit is now fully mitigated.
[/p][p]We want to be clear: intentionally abusing in-game bugs to gain a competitive advantage violates our rules. Accounts confirmed to have deliberately exploited this issue received multi-week suspensions and Ranked Point removals. Competitive integrity—especially in ranked play—is something we actively monitor and enforce.
[/p][p]We also want to address content creation around active exploits. Publishing or promoting “how-to” videos that demonstrate game-breaking behavior—regardless of intent—amplifies the damage by accelerating its spread. If you discover a vulnerability, the responsible path is to report it directly to us through official channels. Creating instructional content around active exploits will be treated as participation in the exploit itself. Moving forward, we may take enforcement action against both accounts abusing the issue in-game and content that promotes it.
[/p][p]We appreciate players who report issues responsibly and help us protect fair play. Our commitment remains the same: rapid response, firm enforcement, and ongoing improvements to ensure Apex Legends remains competitive and fair for everyone. [/p][p]
