Dia de los Muertos Sale: 10/26-11/1

From 10/26-11/1, celebrate Dia de los Muertos! Octane is hosting the party with a new Muerte Rápida Bonus Bundle with Epic “Muerte Rápida” skin, Epic “Altar Ego” banner frame, a matching Rare “Flirting with Death” skin for the Volt and 2 Octane Packs (each guaranteed to have at least one Octane item).

Just in time for Dia de los Muertos, we're returning to the spooky, alternate dimension where Revenant runs the Apex Games. Shadow Royale starts like any other trios match, but when you die you will be raised from the dead in a powerful "Shadow Form" to exact vengeance on your killers and help carry your squad to victory. Shadow lives are infinite, and your squad’s not eliminated until the last living Legend falls.

Three other related bundles are returning to the Store: the Loba Banshee Bundle with her Epic “Banshee Queen” skin and matching Epic “Ready to Pounce” Prowler, the Darkside for Gibraltar, with the “Darkside” Legendary skin and “Moonlight Bash” for the EVA-8, and Bangalore’s Soldado de la Muerte bundle with Legendary “La Catrina" and “Soldado de la Muerte” skins and the Legendary Mastiff “Boomstick”. Or get them all in the Dia de Los Muertos bundle, which comes with 15 Apex Packs.

Apex Legends' Escape has an exciting new gameplay trailer

A new gameplay trailer for the Apex Legends Escape update has been released, showcasing the new map of Storm Point, the new playable character Ash, and a new weapon in the form of the C.A.R SMG. This update all comes with a new battle pass for players to work through as its release marks the start of a new season to the popular battle royale.

Storm Point looks to be a largely distinct addition to the pre-existing map pool present in Apex Legends. As an island it of course has lovely coastal beaches around its perimeter, alongside large rocky outcroppings that cover the majority of the island. These large natural formations surround small man-made buildings and small outposts, and also appear to house dangerous local wildlife that’ll attack players when they get close.

Then there’s Ash, a character who has been featured heavily in the arena game mode since season 9 and an antagonist from the previous first person shooter from Respawn Entertainment: Titanfall 2. She’s be poised as an antagonistic figure for a while now, and judging by her ominous voice-over on the new gameplay trailer it's clear she’s not done causing trouble yet.
