General
- Reworked instant back-end communications to prepare for other platforms
- Leaderboards are now scrollable to show the top 100 players in each category
- Long usernames on the leaderboards that would extend beyond a single line now show an ellipsis instead of wrapping to the next line
- Added the ability to remotely change stamina recharge rate
- Moved in-game notifications (scoring, winning team, face off countdown, etc.) up so that they don't overlap the puck when in spectator mode
- Enlarged purchase pux text and included the % bonus per tier

Cosmetics
-Added new helmet(s): visor, fishbowl

Quality of life
-Added an option to disable cloth physics in Settings > Video. This may help some players improve performance

Fixes
-Fixed an issue where players who were pulled into a custom or quick play game from a practice mode still had that practice mode loaded or were stuck at center-ice
-Fixed an issue where travelling at high speed and pressing dash could slow players down
-Fixed an issue where the horn could sound multiple times as players left after a game had ended
-Fixed an issue where the winning team text could change if the entire winning team left after the buzzer
-Fixed UI images not showing up for cosmetics umbrella, water bucket
-Fixed an issue that caused the pumpkin cosmetic not to work
-Fixed aesthetic issues with the skeleton hands and boxing gloves
-Added some checks to make the game server run a bit smoother

General

Gameplay & Visuals
- Leaderboards are now live, and include all-time, monthly, weekly columns, as well as an option to sort by region. Stats only include matchmade games starting now and will be wiped before early access.
- Added a 6 goal mercy rule to public games
- Added metrics to track: passes, takeaways, turnovers, overtime wins, overtime losses, faceoff wins, faceoff losses, game winnings goals, mercy rule (both received and dealt)
- Stats are now saved to the specific region that they occur in (for leaderboards)
- The game now goes to the tutorial on the first launch (this will happen for everyone on this update)
- Gave people more time to set up for a shot in goalie practice
- Removed the option to set texture quality. They had barely any performance benefits and made the game look very ugly.
- Removed the 8x anti-aliasing option and set default anti-aliasing to disabled. High anti-aliasing significantly affects frame rate (and thus input lag) on a lot of systems
- Added an extras tab with links to Patreon, discord, and has credits including all Patreon supporters. We've only included the first initial for any surnames. If you're a Patreon supporter and would like your name changed to your in-game username please let us know

- Added new helmets: Scary mask, 200 IQ, halo, arrow head, boxer, capone, chef, devil horns, egg, elf, marching band, nurse, police, pope, santa, trainer buddy, ushanka, zeus,
- Added new eyes: angry, zen, iced, lucky, rattled, retired, sad, shiner, squint, teary, tic tac toe, stare, wince
- Added new mouths: happy, vampire, chiclets, overbite, bucky, stunned, gasp, try hard, pensive, yikes, sad
- Added new back cosmetic: Candy cane
- Added new mouth items: Chocolate sandwich, puck

Fixes
- Fixed goalie practice mode balancing and made it take new balancing into account
- Added new text characters to fix people's names
- The ö on the "Mjölnir" cosmetic now shows appropriately, along with other common non-English characters
- Players who previously purchased the yikes or try hard cosmetic will now see that in their inventory
- Fixed the euro eye cosmetic not working
- Fixed an issue with the +/- stat
- Changed the way stats work so that saving and loading them is more performant

Gameplay & Visuals
-The game now differentiates between custom, casual, and ranked modes
-There is now an in-game purchase system to buy pux bundles through Steam. If you purchase pux now you'll get them now and again on launch after wipe.
-The quick play playlist now shows the number of players currently in queue and in matchmade games
-When an entire other team leaves a quick-play match, wins/losses are now appropriately assigned
-Made an adjustment to the player center of mass to make lifted and non-lifted stick speed more consistent (please let us know how this feels)
-Made an adjustment to the puck that should further reduce the ability of the puck to stay stuck on its edge
-Added behind-the-scenes metrics to track player: possession time, shutouts, post hits, plus/minus, blocks, and overtime goals
-Blocked shots add 15 to score.
-Changed region selected UX to make it easier to use
-Added remote variables for the following items: puck drag, puck mass, puck dynamic friction, puck-board bounciness

- Fixed issue where joining/creating a lobby would not take you out of your matchmaking queue
- Fixed several typos/grammar issues in the tutorial text

Rebound v0.38.0 is live

Gameplay
- A tutorial has been added (found on the main menu). Try it out and let us know your thoughts on it. If you want to take it one step further, grab a family member to try it out and see if they get stuck somewhere (try to avoid helping them). Let us know the results! :smile:

UI
- Added an info widget on the top right (left of user info) that shows lobby and queue info whenever applicable
- Teams button has been removed from the main menu (for now), since the feature is a long time out still

Other
- Added matchmaking. This is very basic right now, it just fills up a lobby with 6 people in the regions you queues for. It doesn't backfill games yet;
Try to break it in any way you can please! Finding issues early on saves a lot of time later.

Fixes
- Hair preview images don't have the default hair showing over them anymore
- Face decal previews now show the face decal
- When you're in a lobby, you can click that same lobby in the lobby list to go back to it
- Fixed an issue where cosmetics would always cost 550 pux, they now cost the advertised amount

Known issues
- Trainer buddy's placement in the tutorial on screen sizes other than 1080p is off
