[h2]Celebrating Canada Day & July 4th[/h2]
From now until Sunday July 7th, two codes are redeemable through the shop!
- CANADA24 redeems a stick with the Canadian flag for Canada Day
- USA24 redeems a stick with the American flag for July 4th (Note: People that redeemed the stick last year will get an already redeemed message).

[h2]Patch Notes[/h2]
- Added the Canada stick
- Improved game setup process to help speed up game boots for some players
- Fixed party up navigation on controller
- Changed the premium secret stash refresh text to accurately say 22h instead of 24h
- Fixed an issue where the chatbox caused stutters in some scenarios
- Added August Patreon items (Futuristick, Croc Hunter hat, Diving helmet, cracked egg hat, Greek god jersey). Patreon supporters will vote on which ones they want to receive throughout this month.

- Added a 'party up' button on the end game screen for pubs. This way you can easily request and start a party with teammates you encounter
- Added a new free default hairstyle for long hair
- Reduced the cooldown for the Secret Stash premium refresh from 24 hour to 22 hours

[h2]Changes[/h2]
- Reworked the block stat, you'll be granted a lot more blocks now
- The score blocks award you has been reduced from 15 to 10
- The season challenges for blocks have been increase (easy 3->5 normal 5->10). This was reduced before because it was hard to get
- Improved our internal moderation system and process, repeat offenders will now receive longer mutes/bans
- Improved the way that the optional latency simulator calculates the latency to use
- The faceoff will no longer restart every time someone joins before the match starts but wait a second for other joins to not spam the whistle / positions
- Adjusted our internal database infrastructure to better fit our workload

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
- Drastically reduced CPU usage of servers, which has resulted in a huge amount of extra stability and consistency
- Fixed a few false positives in our internal automated moderation tooling
- Fixed a bug where the puck going out of bounds during goal celebration time resets the play
- Fixed our fallback server provider launching servers too far away from the target location when those locations are full

[h2]Cosmetics[/h2]
- Added July's patreon items: Ballistic mask, Eye head, Earth head, Liberty hat, Avocado head
- Added a long default hairstyle (see NEW section)

Hey Slappers,

We've patched v1.1.1 with some minor changes:
- Added the ability to cancel queue from end game screen
- Fixed a memory leak in the Bundles shop tab when wearing a cosmetic that gets hidden by another piece of the outfit and uses a newer coloring technique (yeah that was an annoying one to figure out)
- When pressing escape to close the dev console, your mouse will correctly lock if in-game
- Added June's Patreon items to the gamefiles: Egg puck, iridiscent helmet, lava cape, waffle stick, stop sign

This is a tiny update to fix the stick highlights for God of Sea and Tentacle sticks. It also increases the difficulty of the hard mode for the goalie save practice a little bit (higher and harder shots).

[h2]Matchmaking[/h2]
- Adjusted matchmaking algorithm based on observations from the last few weeks to provide more balanced matches quicker
- Created an internal region search speed modifier, NA West search speed has been set to 1.5x and Oceania to 2x. This means it'll be quicker to expand your search radius and find a match. If you have multiple regions selected, it will use the lowest search speed for all (if you queue both NA West and NA Central, it'll search at normal speed for both).

[h2]Quality of Life[/h2]
- A player joining or leaving the custom lobby itself (but not the match) will no longer be announced in the chat when you're in an active match to avoid confusion

[h2]Cosmetics[/h2]
- Fixed the monk hood clipping with default hair

[h2]Fixes[/h2]
- Fixed the career interface not showing your rating history properly for people whose PC was in an unsupported language
- Fixed the button sizes in the esports tab, the EUSL button was a few pixels bigger than the others
- Fixed the new shop rotation notification dot not working properly if you change your PC's locale
- Fixed the game crashing if you set the puck spawn and target to the same location in practice (division by zero distance, oops)
- Fixed post hits not counting towards your Steam achievements. These will now count offline as well.
- Fixed the ability to join the pond from the end game screen of an online match or other pond session
