Revita 0.7.1d Update Notes

Hi everyone!

Here is a new update with some changes and bugfixes! More and more of you give us your feedback on our discord and it helps us a lot. Thank you all! 💙

  • New content
    - Added 3 new enemies to the Calm Caldarium
    - Added the remaining alt hats
  • Quality of Life
    - You can now cancel fishing instantly by pressing the special attack button
    - Orbitals and Familiars now appear in front of walls for better visibility
    - Ice tiles in the Arid Athenaeum can't spawn outside of enemy and boss rooms anymore
    - Titan Frogeyes now spawn behind all other enemies to not obscure them visualy
    - When selecting tickets, your cursor starts off at the key ticket, with all the run type tickets on the left and the rest on the right
    - You can now restart and return to the station from the pause menu in weekly runs
  • Relic Changes
    - Hive: Does not synergize with bullet multipliers anymore
    - Practise Target: Won't apply to bosses anymore and decreased the damage bonus from 100% to 50%
    - Bouncy Ball: Lowered Range
    - Skull Pendant: Damage Cap increased from 60% to 70% and lowered the second upgrade from 15% to 12.5%
    - Soul Urn: Increased the amount of time the turn stays active after collecting a soul
    - Cursed Candle: Is now invincible while the player is dashing
    - Ember Pearl: Increased base damage by 10%
    - Mothers Idol: Increased base damage by 2.5% and is now common
    - Shopping Cart: Now only takes effect in normal shop rooms
    - Glass Hammer: Increased its effect from (10->15->20) to (20->30->40)
    - Hard Hat: Now also protects against explosive damage
    - Planetary Ring: Increased its effect from (10->15->20) to (20->30->40)
    - Humble Bee: Increased its fire rate by 20%
    - Idol of Fury: Fire rate cap increased from 40% to 50%
    - RC Controler: Reworked how the aiming is handled, making it more useful overall
    - Greatsword: Lowered base damage from 30% to 25% and changed the speed decrease from -40% to -30%
    - Creepy Doll: Not corrupted by default anymore
    - Courage Trophy: Decreased the fire rate from (20%->35%->50%) to (20%->30%->40%)

    - Silver Bullet + Laser Diode won't destroy the laser anymore on bullet contact
    - Converter + Squishy Shield doesn't lead to infinite hp anymore

    - Changed how hp related relics work when removed
    - Reduced the frequency of legendary relics

  • Curse Changes
    - Burst: Decreased range radius
    - Dangerious Package: Is not affected by meta pickups anymore
    - Bloodlust: Won't be active while mimics are around anymore

  • Celestial Weapon Changes
    - Sagritarius Bow: Increased Cooldown
    - Taurus Boots: Damage won't increase while hovering in the air anymore
    - Celestial Weapon will now appear at the top of your collection menu again

  • Achievement Changes
    - Arcade Kid: Won't reset anymore, if a claw machine is simply skipped

  • Misc. Changes
    - Slightly increased the base range of your gun
    - Reworked boss damage cap
    - Always start with at least 1 key on dailes and weeklies

    - Reduced the frequency of legendary tickets
    - Increased the spawn chance for a secondary, corrupted rift to spawn
    - The Calm Caldarium now has 2 chest rooms and no shop room, similar to the Hollow Hives
    - Enemies fall slightly slower under water
    - Slightly increased the drop rate for bait
    - Bee Hives can not spawn out of reach anymore
    - Run time stops at cursed statues now
    - Increased performance in the journal
    - Legendary fish won't sparkle in the water anymore
  • Bugfixes
    - Alt Depression doesn't freeze the game when electrified anymore
    - Alt Depressions tentacles won't deal damage while stuck in the urns anymore
    - Alt Depression tentacles can't be affected by the high morale or protected curse anymore
    - Alt Depressions attacks can't softlock the game anymore
    - Damaged Ammo (Relic) won't freeze the game anymore when having too many bullets
    - Certain Calm Calderium Minibosses won't crash the game anymore
    - Claw Crawler (Enemy) doesn't have a chance of softlocking a room on death anymore
    - Hive (Relic) now synergises properly with Boomerang (Relic)
    - Fixed some visual bugs with the hp display
    - Can't spawn multiple corrupted rifts in the same room anymore
    - Confirming 0 Hp on the Calm Calderium statue won't softlock the statue anymore
    - Various fish fixes
    - Timer won't count up at the memoria pond anymore
    - Can't get the "Crazy Crates" (Achievement) from fishing up treasure chests anymore
    - Fish won't increase the reel bar more heavily anymore, when swimming against the left ledge of the pond
    - You can't find duplicate lures anymore
    - Can't get softlocked out of fishing if you close the game while listening to the fishermans introduction
    - The Hatstand won't appear unless you have at least 1 hat
    - Using the Scorpio hook while flying will now actually pull you through platforms
    - Greedlings start running away when hit now, even when outside of player range
    - You can't get duplicate relic tickets from ticket machines anymore
    - Fixed Fake Bill (Relic) working in shops it shouldn't and being weird with other currency types
    - Twins are not unlocked by default anymore
    - Unlocking the Bonus Ticket (Expansion) doesn't crash the game anymore
    - Cartographer now has the proper text and sprites when being unlocked
    - The run after a daily/weekly doesn't have everything unlocked anymore
    - Cursed choices won't give you the same curse to choose from twice anymore
    - Fixed a death dialogue from the new area being able to softlock the caretaker
    - Frogun (relic) now actually gives you a firerate increase
    - Greedlings are properly seeded now
    - Arcade/Cat/Cartographer rooms now have their proper room icons
    - Fixed the camera zooming on too much on small rooms
    - Fixed some minor leaderboard issues
    - Fixed the "missing text" key bug
    - Greedlings can now only spawn in enemey room
    - Fixed Nail of Ice (Relic) Behaviour
    - Powercell is now affected by Equality
    - Bonus Tickets can now be free, via the free ticket modifier
    - Fixed the no iframes when dashing into taurus boots bug
    - Picking one of Fortunas chests too fast makes the other chests not stuck anymore
    - Arcade Kid (Achievement): Won't be affected during daily/weekly runs anymore
    - Fixed Cursed Crates (Achievement) not triggering on run win
    - Winged Strawberry (Relic) now increases the values the amount it says it does
    - Snow statues can not spawn directly next to special gates anymore

    - Minor text fixes
    - Minor visual fixes

We are super excited to announce that the third major update of Revita is live now!

The Bait & Switch update includes:
- A new branching path, the Calm Caldarium
- Face new challenges every day/week to win fun prizes and make it to the top of the leaderboards!
- Revisit old runs by remembering and inputting their specific seed
- Visit Memoria Pond and participate in some new and relaxing activities
- Revamped Relic rarity system
- 25+ new Relics
- New Relic Synergy system
- 10+ new Secrets
- 3+ new NPCs
- new special rooms
- 2 new Celestial Weapons?
- new hats
- And a ton more!

  • [h3]QUALITY OF LIFE:[/h3]

- Enemies now have indicators to show whether they'll spawn a corruption rift
- Omega and Miracle bullets now have a visual indicator, as well as a sound in the case of miracle, when they trigger
- The collection menu is now sorted chronologically with the most recent relic/curse first and in the order of Weapon, Synergy, Relic, Curse, Shard Modifier
- Added some more benefits for new players to ease them into the game better in case they are struggling

  • [h3]GAMEPLAY:[/h3]

- Item statues now have a higher likelihood of having more interesting common relics
- Item statues now have a higher chance of having rare relics
- Item statue trades that are 3HP or above will now always be at least rare
- Shops can now carry rare and legendary relics
- Corrupted Room Relics are now at least rare
- Chests will have a higher chance for higher rarity, the further in a run you are

- Corrupted Enemies got changed entirely, they now only deal 1hp of damage, but have more complex attacks, slightly higher speed but slightly less hp than previously

- Shard modifiers got shuffled around a bit again (mainly due to the removal of the less soul and decreased max soul effects, though they can still pop up in a chaos ticket run)
- Added shard benefits to every 5th shard to spice up the runs some more

- If you win with a chaos ticket, the next chaos ticket will now be free

- New room types, small and big rooms, have been added to the room generation and make for some fun new challenges

- Mimics now have a higher chance to drop their prison keys

  • [h3]Relic Changes:[/h3]

- Devil Pact (Relic) will now always revive you with at least 1 max hp
- Courage Trophy: Rare -> Common
- Moon Earring: Increased base range, as well as increased lifetime for bullets
- Converter: Rare -> Legendary; Now grants 3 shields on base level, instead of 2
- Angel Wing: Can now be upgraded



  • [h3]Shard Changes:[/h3]

- Cheap Bosses: Now just lowers the amount of pickups dropped by bosses, rather than remove them entirely
- Enemy HP: Nerfed the effect a little

  • [h3]Curse Changes:[/h3]

- Exorcised: Effect Nerfed
- Weakend: Now a one time damage decrease, rather than also affecting later damage ups
- Sluggish: Now a one time speed decrease, rather than also affecting later speed ups
- Sluggish: Now a one time firerate decrease, rather than also affecting later firerate ups
- Clunky Chamber: Effect Nerfed
- Necromancer: Enemies now have souls
- Parasite: Enemies now have souls
- Broken Chain: Now also decreases by .1 rather than .2



  • [h3]Bugfixes:[/h3]

- Fixed being able to die from blacksmith upgrades for real now.
- Relic/Pickup popup doesn't stay around anymore when buying something from a shop
- Fixed Collision Bugs
- Fixed CDS crashing after not skipping a chest in the area after getting the relic
- Can't get repeat relics via shopping cart relic
- Twin souls relic won't give souls on no soul enemies anymore
- The Local Customs Modifier curse will now properly get reset after each area
- Shoppinh Cart (Relic): Now upgradable as intended
- You can get more than one relic ticket at a time again
- Golden String and Talisman can be gotten from tickets now once unlocked
- Fixed a bug that would crash the game if you have played on "one-stick" mode before the cursed choices update
- Removing Laser Diode won't give a damage up anymore
- Game won't crash anymore when making a backup, exiting the game, booting the game up again and then starting the backup save
- Explosive Bullets now scale their damage properly based on your bullet damage
- Potentially fixed the bomb grub freeze
- Can't die from ticket costs anymore
